I just got back from getting my yearly mammogram. When they gave me the little gown/vest to put on, they gave me the regular one. I've always had to wait for them to go find an extra big gown before. After so long being bigger than the biggest size most places carry, and the biggest person in every crowd, it was crazy to put that standard sized gown on and have it be really loose. Like, I'm not even close to the top size person who would be able to wear that standard size gown. I'm in the middle! I could wrap it way extra around me! Sometimes blows my mind to be "normal".

Not really a "weird" victory but the constant little voice in my head is gone. I'm not screaming inside about how I need to lose weight and why do I keep doing things like ... eating. I'm not thinking about what I'm going to eat next, or what I just ate and why it was "bad". All the other destructive disordered eating thoughts have just gone away.
It's nice and quiet in my head. I like it.

Ran my first 5K on Saturday, and while it took almost an hour, I actually ran the whole way. It was amazing. When I started getting tired, I just remembered when I first started and how I died just running a minute, but now I ran for 55 minutes!
Also... came out of the shower this morning, and realized I could actually wrap the towel around me without that wedge of skin showing!!

Not sure this qualifies as a "victory" but it's weird!!
I have a movable, interlocking partition wall in my library. You have to fit each piece together, go to the edge of it and PUSH to get the pieces to interlock. I used to be able to push it together will minimal effort. Now, I can't get it together without almost slipping on the carpet and wiping out. Last time, some of the other teachers had to help. I figured out that it's because I have 140lbs less force behind me!

I have been wanting a "Comfy" for a while now since I am cold a lot more than before I lost 200 pounds. I do Aldi pickup a lot and saw they had a knock off for 15 bucks. I ordered it, but when I got it, it was a "junior" for kids. I thought, what the heck, I'll try it on since these things are oversized. And it fits with a lot of room. Lol. Luckily, I'm 5'3" and have t-rex arms, so even the sleeves are long enough for me. [emoji23]

    Is it Body Groove?
It's a bunch of people in what looks like a dance studio... the leaders has long dark hair, I think. I've done some of them on YouTube and I like them. I also found a guy who does Zumba on YouTube, and I like his stuff. He's Zumba Sulu.

I also am six months (almost) out and have some of the same feelings. Slider foods—ones that you can eat a lot of without feeling the restriction—are real. So what I do is I tell myself if I still want it in two hours, I can have a little bit. Then I put a portion in a bowl or on a plate and only eat that. No taking the entire container or package out of the kitchen!
Carbs are NOT the enemy. Your body needs carbs for energy, and the more active you are, the more carbs you need.
Fat is NOT the enemy. Your body needs fats for hormone balance, especially for people who are AFAB.
I finally went to a nutrition program where I have a coach who helps me once a week. I plan my meals and sometimes things happen and I go off the rails—but just for a meal or maybe a day. Then it's right back on the horse.
I am still losing about 1 pound a week, and I'm around 15-25 pounds from my ultimate goal (how much exactly will depend on the results of next Wednesday's DEXA scan, since my goal is sub-20 body fat percentage, not a scale number). It might take me six months or more to lose it, and that's okay. The longer it takes, the more eating the 'right' way feels normal.
For reference, I'm only a little taller than you but significantly heavier. I am extremely active (workouts, running, coaching, working outdoors) and I am losing a pound a week on about 1700-1800 cals a day, split pretty evenly among Protein, fat, and carbs—about 140P, 160C, and 60F. Every body is different.
Just rein in those habits now.

If they won't let you do an Uber, can you find someone on Care.com who could pick you up? Might even be able to have them stay with you for the day if you're concerned.
I'm sorry they're not supportive. Even if they disapprove, not being there to help you out sucks.

Now THAT sounds interesting. But I just checked it out quick and it appears it only goes to 60 inches. I think my hips are 62. Or at least they were years ago when I last checked. LOL I could always get it and wait until I lose a few inches before I start to use it.
