    How Much Can You Eat?

Thanks to everyone for their response. I'm still trying to figure all of this out. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one playing around with portions still.:tongue2: I'm trying to determine whether I need another fill. I was out of control over the holidays (eating). I figure if I just get back on track this week, I'll know if a 3rd fill is needed.
  8. Hey All! I'm debating back and forth as to whether I should get a fill (1/12/09 will be my 3rd fill) or am I just not eating properly? According to the info I received from Inamed (Lap Band makers) I should be eating 1-2 oz of meat, fish or poultry. I can eat more than that. I can eat 4 oz. and be satisfied, not stuffed. Also approx. how many oz. of veggies do you eat with each meal? Do you go by the: eat a ½ cup to 1 cup total per meal theory? I’d love to hear your experiences with learning how to eat like a bandster.:tongue2:
  9. How are you doing??

  10. thanks for the add,i had 2nd fill yesterday. so far, so good we will see what happens Christmas! keep up the good work and have a Happy Holiday..

  11. I want to wear a normal sized jean. NO MORE PLUS SIZES! I want to wear a swim suit again. I haven't worn one in about 15 years. I also want to wear tights without starting a fire. I can't wait 'til these thighs go down....LOL!:huh2:
  12. Hey! Now it's my turn to be the "snob"...LOL! I'm sorry for my late response. I'm a full time student and my work load has been ridiculous! The semester is over now and I will have a little more time to socialize on LBT. I was really fortunate and bounced back very quickly. My surgery was on 10/30 I was released on 10/31 and was out trick-or-treating with my son...walking around my neighborhood. I'm sorry to hear about your gas pain. I totally know how you felt. I had those same terrible shoulder pains from my c-section. It feels like you're having a heart attack! 30lbs is excellent! Keep up the good work. I've lost 18lbs (10lbs pre-op). I've had 2 fills already and have pretty good restriction. Hopefully my weight loss will speed up a little bit, along with me working out more consistantly since my schedule is not as hectic. Talk to you soon.

  13. Oh my gosh! I just found your message. I use a blackberry to access LBT and was having really bad trouble with my user cp. I had to email Alex today and tell him something must be wrong. Now all the sudden I have full access to my user cp and had 5 messages. I guess he fixed it. Everyone must think I'm a snob for not writing back!!! Thanks for asking about me. I had a really rough time for he first 6 days-not from the sx site but just from the gas. It had settled in my shoulder and was so bad. It finally got better. Every now and then it flares up but it is managable. Before we left for Mexico I had lost 19 lbs pre-op and today I was down 30.6-whoo hoo!!!! How have you been?

    I'm a Loser Y'all!!!

Thanks Ladies! I'm feeling really good, and I'm trying to take it easy. After surgery, I had 3 papers to work on for school, and I had my son this weekend. Woo! It sure is hard being Super Woman!

    Any October Bandsters!??!?!

Hey All! I was banded on 10/30. Everything went very well I wasn't and haven't been in any pain. Just a lot of soreness, I was released on Friday afternoon, and I was feeling so good that I even took my 3 yr old trick-or-treating. The walking was good for me. It was nice to stretch my legs, plus I it worked some to the gas out.
