  2. Everything above! congrats ?
  3. I bought a variety box of single use protein flavors. Brand is NECTAR. (Amazon) I like the ones that are drinks over ice, not blended up milk shakes. They have flavored iced teas, iced coffees, other delicious flavors that don’t taste “diety” and aren’t thick. I use a shaker bottle and add water, ice and the protein pack. I also bought flavorless protein powder to cook with. I use it in almost everything I cook but my favorites are sugar free, low fat muffins, biscuits (lots of recipes online). The flavorless protein powder can be added to anything so it helped lessen my obsession over cravings. I didn’t feel so restricted.
  4. I’m one week post-op. My dr said to stop taking all meds except for Wellbutrin 1x a day. It’s small, but they also give you meds for aches. It’s the size of a Tums tablet and that has to be cut in half, taken 1 every 15mins because it’s too large for your stomach. I see my dr at week 2 to determine which meds/vitamins I can continue taking and the dosage. I am a heart patient so I was pretty shocked that my surgeon and my heart dr agreed to postpone everything for 2 weeks.
  5. WOW! Thanks for this info. I’m starting week 2, and on the same strict diet plan LAJ23 was originally on...liquids only and I’m so miserable. I will try a purée for dinner! Thank you both.

  7. I’m new here, still doing post-op liquids ? but my mom has had this surgery 20yrs ago and she can pretty much eat anything she wants to, actually for 15+ years she has been able to eat everything. Too much of anything is still bad for her, but she knows her limits. I just write to give you hope. You will one day be able to eat a little bit of anything on the planet ❤️
