  1. Do not panic. We all have had our days during the journey. the mind games are brutal and you body is fighting back now. I agree with above

So you messed up , just move on and clear your head! Have no clue how you could eat pork skins but oh well Time to get back to being healthy. You worked hard for this and just look around the reward for you hard work is just ahead a little.

    or

Stay on you addiction and be unhealthy and die young most likely suffering from disease related to your weight.

Only two options you have - Yes its brash but the truth is the truth

    You got this

  2. Just bring what ever you want to wear loose sweats - I personally as a guy jumped into a pair of cut of sweat pants and a loose shirt. Its game time after surgery and walking the halls is the key. so you most likely do not want your ass hanging out so comfy loose clothes.

As for the waist thing i say no f'in way - I do not think you want compression or anything pushing on your belly

  3. Normal as can be - I have said this a hundred times on this site - it is a journey and it will pay off ............... DO not focus on the scale or you will be in a rubber room with a jacket the buckles from the back.

The head games are tough and just focus on a new lifestyle of eating healthy and managing your addiction to food. Focus on your Vitamins and minerals. The rest will come and the weight will fall off

We all have been there it is not easy at the start but once you get the hang of it -------GAME ON

i started out like you weighing myself and driving myself nuts. Then i weighed in once a month and turned my focus to my new healthy lifestyle. Trust me it works

  4. I did the sleeve and I can say I am happy with it - Everyone above nailed it but i just want to say been a easy ride blow off all the weight and Having no problem keeping it off. But this is sometimes a pain in the ass i end up malnourished and dehydrated alot. Not sure if the other methods make it easier then the sleeve to stay nourished and hydrated.

Either way you decide you gotta do it best decision i have ever made

  5. GO SLOW OR YOU WILL BE PUNISHED BIG TIME! As a male and someone who has tested the envelope his whole life i tried to push and mix stuff up.

I will just tell you what i did and hopefully it will give you some guidance I purreed some rice into my broth about 4 days out and slammed it. Of course it was rice with seasoning and the broth was loaded. It hit hard and within minutes came flying back up. Was not a fun experience. So take it slow

As a trained chef i would go about 10 of the spice you used to use and move up from there, but heck ya mix er up and enjoy the journey

  6. My Nutritionist encouraged 10 hour fasting and she mixed up the calories, At 600 calories a day you are going to break free of this stall and shred the weight.

One thing mix up your diet a little try different foods, My go to was seeds and nuts Low calories and kept.

There is no doubt the first 6 months are a b***h. But it will work and there is all the proof in the images here.

  7. Welcome to the mission! Been there done that! Ok trust me on this, you have to not let it get to you, you will end up in a rubber room with a jacket that buckles from the back.

Everyone above nailed it, Mix up your diet alot, different foods, try some fasting, and flucuate you calories

I would do 3 days at 1100 calories then drop to a day of 500 then bump to 800 - That really worked for me Your body is saying WTF and is trying to conserve its fat = You gotta trick it.

Love the post above Its not the scale, You will get there we all have and it will be the best journey you have ever done

  8. You are normal do not panic! I would have to say all of us or most of us felt the same way, Just done with it. I beat the hell out of my body thru poor choices and a hell raising lifestyle. Now a year after surgery I feel 30 again and healthy and happy. You mind is playing games also which is very common

    You got this

  9. There are a million posts on this topic here. Everybody is different and your body is fighting back. I found mix a little 12 hour fast in it and mix up your calorie count one day do your 1200 next day do 900 - The key is you have to trick your body into burning again. Right now it says no way Conserve fat Conserve

But great job and the lifestyle change will come and become way easier

  10. Ok everyone struggles in the beginning in portion and quality and such. I am amazed you can handle a crab cake so early. It took me about 4 months to handle fried food.

I used a nutritionist to get me to goal. We focused on good quality and realistic portions. For example it was easier for me to eat 5 times a day vs 3 -

It is simple Math! Keep you calories less then you burn and eat healthy!

FYI no you did not do damage most likely we all have been there it is not easy to adjust to the new life style but in time it falls in place.
