I am a proud mom of 2 teenagers. A son who is 17 and a high school senior, and a daughter who is 15 and a sophomore in high school. I will be married for 22 yrs in October. I am also a T1 Diabetic.

I had my Gastric Sleeve done on 6/24/20. While doing that they removed my gall bladder and repaired a hiatal hernia. So far, I am down about 40lbs, however, my issues are with getting enough protein and fluids and trust me I always have a water bottle on me. I am taking a nutrition class through hospital where I had surgery performed.

I also just found out that my mother has a rare genetic disease that is hereditary. I now have to have my doctor test me for it. Really nervous as I had symptoms of it prior to surgery.
