  1. Thank you ever so much for your informative and comprehensive response to my inquiry. I appreciate this more than you know. Just FYI I am not taking in more than 700-800 calories daily. It seems to me that even without surgery I should be losing weight on that caloric intake.
I will be MUCH MORE VIGILENT concerning the amount of food I consume at meals. I will give you an example of what I have to eat daily:
BREAKFAST: High Protein Shake = 160 calories
LUNCH: Amy's Tomato Bisque Soup = 240 calories
DINNER: One source of Protein (Yogurt/veggie burger/cottage cheese) usually about 240 calories
My Snacks are diet Jello for ten calories per serving - 2 servings at the most
Sugarless lollipops for 17 calories each for about 34 calories in a day
I'm down about 9 pounds from my date of surgery but have been stalled for about 5 days now.
I don't think I can try harder than I am right now. Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't it come down to calorie intake?
Thank you again. I DO APPRECIATE THIS!
    My best,
    Grace
Stay away from carbs. Ie yogurt, veggies burgers , and eat cheese at a minimum

  2. Define cheating. If it was a few slip ups it’s probably not a big deal. If you really ignored the instructions I would say yes, simply because you’re not mentally ready. Nothing personal, you have to dig deep and really want this to succeed.
I need therapy for food addiction [emoji30] but im wondering if I should cancel because I don't want to waste money , get on the surgery table and they tell me to go back home

  3. I hate it but this is the only picture I have before my gastric bypass surgery. It was my birthday at the zoo before surgery. The stupid zoo snapped this horrid picture without me knowing. I wish I’d been able to enjoy the day more than I did. I treated my mom and her friends to a free day at the zoo and a close encounter with flamingos that I’d won. (Yeah It was supposed to be my birthday) that was April 2019. I tried to hide behind my camera. I didn’t know if the surgery was even going to happen but it did get approved the end of April one week before surgery. That happened April 29th. I despise pictures of myself and am not good at taking them. I tried to take a after picture. With and without the Faja. Trying clothes I never thought I’d wear. Not sure anyone wants to see. I dislike my arms and hands and my knees are weird ... and I don’t like my ugly mug [emoji1787] sorry they are terrible pictures but I never thought I’d be this weight or size ... or that I’d have an actual waist.

  4. My surgery is 8/19. I’m currently on day 7 of my 14 day liquid diet. It has had its moments and yesterday I was super hungry and these shakes just weren’t cutting it so I listened to music and that helped.
I have cheated so many times on this diet and my surgery is the 21st I hope it goes well. I'm going to be strict from now on

  5. Make sure you do your research before going to Mexico for surgery I ended up going to Mexico Bariatric Surgery Center in Mexico what a huge mistake first of all I can say Mexico is not the cleanest it when it comes to being sterile and following protocol for safety measures my Iv fell out and was dragged on the floor the nurse that wanted to reinsert the needle back into my arm. They have a little Tin Cup to keep alcohol and cotton balls together. the tin cup had people's blood on the rim. the showers had bloody bandages clearly not clean. Never once did they change their gloves from Patient to Patient. To top this off I had my surgery they removed 95% of my stomach which here in the States that is not recommended. I returned back here in Michigan and I knew something was not right I decided to go into the hospital to get checked out they lacerated my spleen I was lucky to be alive I immediately contacted Mexico Bariatric Center they told me that my diagnosis was incorrect that I would have died there basically saying that a CT scan was wrong I tried to contact them raising matters that needed to be corrected for safety purposes they seem to not really care I thought I did my research and it was pretty thorough at what I was looking at boy was I wrong nearly costed me my life!

If u dont mind me asking, what was the complication u had and who was your doctor

  6. The risk of gastric leak is around 1 in every 200 surgeries. Patients are explained the risks. I signed a paper before being wheeled back acknowledging that I realized I could have complications and potentially die. I did end up with a massive GI bleed and the beginning of sepsis. Would do it again.
Sorry that happened to you, what surgery did u have

  7. I had pretty big boobs for my frame all my life. I popped out one kid, and I didn’t even breastfeed (I pumped for 4 weeks only). And it wreaked havoc on the state of my boobs. I had a breast reduction a year or so later, and they were good for a while (still big enough, but at least not droopy any more...i was wearing a 34C for a while after the reduction).
Then I gained alot of weight the the next 10+ years and got up to a 40DD/DDD.
Losing the weight deflated them, and re-droopified them. Not as droppy as after the kid, but enough to make me want the breast lift.
Age, number of times there was weight gain& loss, speed of weight gain/loss, genes, and overall amount of fat lost will determine the sagginess of your boobs in the end. While muscle training may increase the size of the pectoral mucsles behind your boobs and give your chest a bit of lift, no amount if exercise will fill the sacs of deflated boobs. That’s just science.
Depending on how much it bothers you, you can still easily look fabulous with a really good bra, no matter what the state you boobs are in.
    Good Luck ! [emoji3590]

Thank you for this!!!!! Super encouraging!!!!

  8. Make sure you wear supportive bras as you lose weight. It’ll be an expense, but keep sizing down as necessary. I’m a stay-at-home mom and cheap so I didn’t do this. I kept wearing bras that were way too big around the house. This may have contributed to the sagging I have going on now. I’m interested in at least a lift at some point, maybe implants too.

Thank you!! Are u breast feeding? I currently have no kids and I wonder if most people who need a boob job had kids before weight loss

  9. Mine are just empty now but not any droopier than they were before my weight loss. I went from an 18E to a 10E. I’m not that interested in a breast reduction. I’ve just bought good supportive underwear. I do like not having to readjust myself to get my breasts out of the way when I go to bed. And I don’t have to buy a larger size in anything just to fit my breasts in.
Yesss thats wonderful!!! I bet u can breathe easier now and things are much better fitting. When u say flat, like not soo full? Mine are extremely full now and I'm pre surgery 42DD I never had perky boobs but always full. I just pray they don't fall too much

  10. I ended up with pretty empty boobs after weight loss. No implants for me, but I did get a breast lift, which I am extremely happy with as I now have the perky boobs of a teenager. Yeah, they are way smaller than they were pre-wls, but man, nothing beats being able to walk around bra-less and having my boobs still stand up on thier own (I’m a 30C today, 33” bust, 28.5” underbust)

Thats awesome! Yes I may just get a breast lift if need be but I honestly hope I don't need one [emoji28]
