For those of you that have had your surgeries at Blossom, do they keep in touch with you after surgery to make sure you are on track? Do they refer you to someone local to you? I really like what I see with Blossom, just a little nervous that after surgery the communication stops.

I have decided on having the ds switch. I need your absolute honest opinions on the surgery. The good vs the bad, what you would do differently and if you would do it again or no way. Give me the good, bad and ugly. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone!! I am new here and am SO glad I found you all. I had my sleeve done in Mexico (I know... ) back in 2011. I have no complaints, except there was no after surgery care. So, long story short... i have gained almost all my weight back and would really like to hear from some of you about re-sleeving or another surgery that would help me. I am looking to lose, atleast, 80lbs. I don't think I want the DS, simply for the malabsorbtion and dumping issues it comes with, however, I would still like to hear from someone having gone thru each of the surgeries. I am fixing to start the journey into revision surgery, so to be honest, I’m kinda ashamed. After my sleeve (2011) I did lose a lot of weight, but have gained most back. So, long story short, my husband is the ONLY one who knows. I just don’t want to deal with the comments from anyone. I already feel like a complete failure, I don’t need anyone’s help with beating myself up.

I had my surgery at Blossom back in May. I am now 7 weeks postop. I could not recommend Blossom enough. From the moment I called to get all of the information all the way to the day we left Vegas, I feel the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They are still calling me and checking up on me to see how I am doing.
Just a note for the ones of you out there that do not think your insurance will cover this, you still need to call and find out if you are considering Blossom. They file this differently with your insurance company. My insurance company paid thousands and thousands for my surgery and the other things that had to be done. I only had to pay $6000 out of pocket. I did the fast track program which is done in 4 days. What I paid out of pocket, covered everything for my surgery, the medications you will need after surgery, all of the compression socks, the hotel and the ground transportation to and from the doctors offices and the airport if needed.

My kids don't even know, only my husband. I just didn't want to deal with judgment or gossip, so I've kept everything private. When people comment that I look thin, I joke that I've been on a quarantine diet and since all the restaurants are closed, I had no choice but to finally learn how to cook a healthy meal!
