  1. Bariatric Advantage Ultra Solo with Iron is what I take. It was recommended in my program. I buy three months at a time.
  2. First slice was this past Saturday. Almost 3 months post surgery. Good, New York Pizza, from my favorite spot. Split one slice with my 3 year old grandson. He finished his, and I made it through half of mine. Lol. So 1/4 slice, but it was good, and I was happy. Before surgery, I could do 5 or 6 slices.
  3. Hang in there Mischa. You'll be with your mom again when its time. For now, concentrate on doing what they tell you to do both preop and post. Most importantly, the recovery process is temporary, and will pass. You'll will do great!!
  4. Yea, its awesome to be wearing smaller clothes. I went from 44 to 38 jeans.
  5. If your deductible is already met, and your maximum out of pocket is as well, you should be good to go. Just call your insurance company.
  6. I did the needles as well. Nothing to it. Sounds like you are recovering well!!
  7. Four weeks for me. I climb ladders, lift stretch, and bend.
  8. Had a sleeve. I have a job with lifting and ladders and driving etc. I took a month. Glad I did.
  9. Thats going to be a fun bike. Enjoy and ride safe!
  10. Just do everything that they tell you to.
  11. I was only allowed 5 protein shake a day during week 2 of my preop diet.
  12. No matter what you do, there will be someone who thinks you shouldn't. Just live your life the best that you can. Good luck with your surgery!
  13. As soon as I got to my room. Has bad dry mouth from the nausea patch.
  14. I stall for a week, then lose for four or five days. Its fine as long as I keep trending down. I had a fantastic start, so no complaints here. I did expect it to be more like before surgery when I lost weight.
  15. 5 scars. Very ittle pain. But, about two weeks out I did something to cause a stitch inside the big incision to rip my abdominal muscles. Every time I moved the wrong way, it would do it again. Lasted almost three weeks and the pain was terrible. It finally dissolved and broke and in an instant, the pain was gone. So. Don't over do it. I thought I was at 100 percent, but I was not. I wasn't ready to lift anything or any strenuous activity. Totally my fault. You'll be fine. Just take it easy and do what they tell you.
  16. I'd ask your surgeon about the restriction. How much can you eat, or are you grazing? This is valuable time for you and you can't waste it. 35 lbs is a good start. Get back in there!!
  17. No insight, but I'm sorry you are having issues.
  18. I stall every other week. I'll go a week or so at the same weight and then lose a couple and so on. Frustrating, but I'm getting used to it.
  19. I suffered zero nausea after surgery. Lots of folks don't.
  20. Surgery @ 279, came home @286 the next day.
  21. Wasn't an issue with my sleeve. Doc saw it in my labs and wasn't concerned.
