  1. Wrong. It's my right and my responsibility as an American. As it's your right to be whoever you are. I support, and would die for both of our rights.
  2. 8 or 9 for me.
  3. Sucks! Hang in there. My wife got me won ton soup. I only had the broth, but it was awesome at the time.
  4. Stick to your instructions. It will break soon.
  5. I was given pain meds at the hospital, on arrival, and I had to put a nausea patch on the night before.
  6. 3 pm surgery and out the next morning.
  7. I ate badly right up until my preop diet.
  8. Yes. All the time. I stall for a week or so and lose for 4 to 7 days. Usually a pound a day. It's been like this since around three weeks out. You'll get to a point where you will know it will continue to work, and then it becomes less frustrating.
  9. You're doing great. Time flies by. You'll be there before you know it.
  10. Yea. Its moving along nicely. I'm thinking maybe 180 to 185. Almost there. Hitting the 1s is pretty cool. Never thought I would have been here again.
  11. Liquids move through quickly, but until your healed, you should sip. As catwoman7 said, your stomach will tell you when to slow it down. In the beginning, I would get the hiccups when I drank too much.
  12. Hang in there. When you get to soft food it gets easier. Soft cooked meats, chili, etc.
  13. 2 weeks puree and 4 weeks soft for me.
  14. I pureed chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad. Real quick in the food processor, so it didn't turn into paste. I ate Hummus with all three. It got me through it.
  15. I'm sorry you lost your husband. Between that, and the head game of surgery, I'm sure you're having a tough time. You hang in there, and time will help. Good luck.
  16. 199!!! Never thought I'd see the 1s again.
  17. No regrets here.
