Sucks. Keep walking. I did laps around the island in my kitchen. Lol. Thousands of them. Hang in there. The worst is almost behind you!

I tore some flesh deep overdoing it after my surgery. It was around three weeks out. I thought I was good to go. Wrong! It was brutal. I can remember the instant relief when it finally dissolved.

my surgeon’s plan allows this in the soft food stage which started at day 15. I wish I could say I ate this over a 30 min period, but I did not. I took tiny bites, but it really did not take very long. I was savoring every little bite 😹😹😹
Eating slowly was the hardest part fo me. Still is.

I do. I struggle with evening grazing. I'm very careful to graze on Protein and vegetables though. Maintenance is a challenge. Best advice that I could offer is to follow your plan and do what your team tells you to do for the first year at least. My eating habits have completely changed as a result of follow my plan. I hope a can continue to keep it off.

Today is a year since my sleeve surgery. I started at 294 lbs and this morning I am 175. I bounce around the low 170s. I feel good and would do it again in a heart beat. My aches and pains are mostly gone and so is my severe sleep apnea. At 53, I weigh less than I did in high school. Lol

Tuesday will be a year for me. 122 down and finding success with maintenance, for around 4 or 5 months now.

Hello all.
So I've gained a 6 lbs back. I'm not really doing anything different. No bad carbs, and at around 1500 calories a day 10 months out, after losing 120 lbs in 7 months. I feel like I've leveled out, but am worried about this sudden gain. Is this normal?
Thanks, Joe

I think I was twice a day for 14.

Out of curiosity, how did you come up with the muscle loss figure?

Good luck to you all.
What do non-cooks eat in the 4th month?

I eat lots of cheese, cold cuts, etc. Lots of high Protein foods that don't require cooking. Mexican food is great without rice, chips, and tortillas. Think fajitas or something like that. I order burgers without Buns, with slaw for a side. Walmart rotisserie chickens are great. Any take out minus the carbs will work. Keep whatever fresh vegetables you like in the refrigerator also. I eat cucumbers for a snack quite often. If you like sardines, they are great protein. tuna as well.
Keep up the good work!
