Yeah that is what I am eating to. It has only happened a couple of times. Hope I can eliminate the snezzing.

It will get better, for me it was day 3. I really just got to the point that Ididn't care if I ate or not. SF Popsicles are only 15 cals and are such a treat!

Once you get on smooth you will be fine. Eat popsicles! 15 Cal each. Eat 4 or 5 Live a little!

Get some dry mouth spray. You WILL need it after surgery. They sell at CVS in their own brand and Biotene. You can look on line and see if the store near you has it. Walk walk walk when you wake up. You will also have a hard time peeing until your bladder wakes up. Drink as much water as possible.

Oh and this is just me. Everyone is different but I had no pain other than gas in the hospital. I have been pain free since.

You are WAY down the road from me. I eat very smll portions really just for the Hell of it becuse I am not hungry. Have some head hunger from time to time but that is about it. I have not eaten enough to feel sickly yet.

I have had zero regrets and wish I had done this sooner!! That is my only regret.

Hello Jeanine Buck. It varies from person to person. I had a lap band taken out and sleeved on 2/23...15 days ago. I had surgery on Tuesday, overnight in hospital. Went home the next day 250 miles way. Went to work in my home office on Thursday. The day I woke up in the hospital from surgery I was uncomfortable from gas they used during surgery. I was able to burp almost all of the gas out before leaving the hospital. I drank alot of water and walked lot that first day. I have had no pain since. I hope you have as uneventful a recovery as I had. This is not the case with everyone. You will be fine and will not regret it!

Oh Wow! Good I am not alone. My Doc told me that was my body letting me know I was full. Something about the membrane in my nose swelling.

I too was told not to chew gum because of digestive juices.

You will not regret it , at least I dont 15 days post op.

I am taking stool softene rs and I have been regular!
