I was reading on the American thread about people who have had their tubing pierced by fills, you wouldnt believe it. Very scarey, so be VERY selective whom you choose to do your adjustments girls. Jackie, I have taken Kelp for a number of years now, and they do work. I have had a lot of stress lately, with the family, and I have given up smoking, and the only signs of this have been a flaking scalp, I think it could have been a lot worse if it hadnt been for the kelp tabs. So yes they are worth taking, before your surgery.

CW, glad to see you back safe and sound. Awesome that you have lost so much in such a short time. I went to Montego bay a couple of years ago, and couldnt eat the gorgeous food after the flight, so be prepared for your band tightening up hunny.

Jackiem Gillian, I found my sweet spot after those long haul flights, I couldnt even say I was hungry, which to my mind thats how it should be when you cant get much down. I went to New York and the amount of Chinese buffets and lovely restaurants there was amazing, but I couldnt eat any of it. Also went to Florida and you know what the food is like there too, there was 8 of us and they were all scoffing big fat juicy steaks except me, I just sat with Soup and inhaled their food. Do you feel hungry? T

The Kelp tablets are not an overnight miracle girlies, you have to just take them every day to see the effects. You poor things with your hair thinning, I do hope it comes back as thick and as lustrious as ever. I didnt have that but there again I only lost 2 stones the first time, so mabye thats why. Forgot to say Gillian, Sarah who is in Oz started a job last week and is loving it. It pays well too $23.50 an hour, its in a call centre, sales, which she has experience in, the sales, not the calling. She was an area manager, always on the road, and I used to worry like mad about her driving all over the country. I'm glad she's sat in an office. She says its quite an expensive place where they live, and it gets dark at 5:30 at night! She says all the bars and restaurants close about 9:30 at night, and they find it strange and pretty boring. She thinks they may move on somewhere else in a few months, as they have an apartment they have leased for 4 months atm. I always feel like I'm hijacking this thread when I go on about my family...sorry peoples.

Oh dear Wishfull, do you think you lost the weight too fast? I take Sea Kelp for strong teeth, nails and hair. Try it chick, it may be just a passing phase. If you are unduly worried ask your GP.

Bless you Gillian I didnt want to start boring everyone with updates on the family, but will do it now being as you are so sweet as to ask. Mum is in the nursing home and seems a lot better now, mentally. She can weight bear but not walking yet. The physio has to be requested by GP, didnt know that till yesterday, sio have asked them to do it asap. Sadly Mum's twin passed away on monday just gone and I had to break the news to her. She took it well, but has asked me every day did I tell her, that she had died. Her Dimensia stops her from remembering, which is a good thing in a way as she isnt dwelling on it while I'm not there. Daughter and baby are doing good, she has even been allowed back to work. Cant wait to see if I have any saline in my band when I see MVDB on saturday, please God that Freddy didnt peirce my tubing. How would I stand if he has done that, with Dr Chris I mean, do you think he would replace it free of charge for me? I know I'm being a bit pessimistic here, but I have simply no restriction whatsoever, like when my other band had a hole in it and I'm scared to death.

Ahh thanx Sammy, that makes me feel so much better. I discussed it with the husband and he said wait until you've had your second fill and if you dont start to lose it then do whatever you feel is right for you...bless. There are an awful lot of pluses for giving up, and they do outweigh the minuses I spose. But if i dont start to lose a few pounds then I will be going on diet shakes till I have lost some. Wishfull, how sporty are you!!!! It sounds like so much fun, and yes I bet you're going be losing loads if you keep that up. Odgemodge before you know it you'll be on your way home girl. Maggs you are not the slowest loser on here chick, thats me Not only am I not losing, I have gained the 7lbs I lost on the pre-op diet. I can eat more than a tea plate full of anything!!!! Not a dinner plate, but then I never could eat a lot at one sitting ...I'm more of a grazer, which is not good unless you munch on a lettuce leaf. I think I will change my ava too, some hot chicks on here aint there, Garry is getting really eaxcited I can tell.:thumbdown: I cant compete, but I can join in. Where do you want to put your piccy, do you mean your avatar, that little pic bleow your name, as that has to be tiny, it wont accept larger than about 100 pixels i think it is, or it may be smaller, it does tell you in your user Control Panel top left.
