Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris
Hi girls, sorry i havent been around, I was helping my daughter get rid of some nasty trojans and Worms on her laptop, that her naughty teenage son had got for her by going to some dodgey sites and downloading stuff and not scanning them. I put a virus scanner on my flashdrive as she couldnt get online, but there was problems with it, so i was checking the flashdrive on my pc (how stupid) and got all her virus's. I am in the middle of backing up my system and formatting my hard drive. Then I have to install my operating system again, which takes an age. I am on my other pc atm, but I've been at it all day and I'm so tired now. not lost any more weight on the scales, but clothes fit better and my hairdresser told me on Tuesday that I had lost loads of weight on my face!!!! gee what about the bod?....Anyway its coming off. See you asap take care chicks and chaps xxxx Oh and Sammy have a great holiday sweetie xxx

Ahh thanx Shoes, its lovely to hear from you. Freddy boy topped me up to 5 and a half when I went on 14th may. I had been to see my surgeon Michael Van den Bossche on the saturday before (second fill) and he had put in 5 then took half out cos he thought I was struggling to drink the water, but as it turned out i was fine. Since the last fill with freddy, I am struggling to eat anything much. I cant even drink booze too well., this is why I turned to cigs, I have no will power whatsoever. Hubby says I'm being silly about the cigs, and I know I am. I have smoked one today, it will build up and up. The thing is since I smoked on saturday I have lost weight, so now its in my mind that cigs make me lose weight. I just feel I want one, and I put a patch on and the damn thing keeps coming off. You would have laffed yesterday cos I had to stick it on with a plaster and in the end used sellotape!!

Garry are you ok now? I havent read any posts since you posted that one. My surgeon recommended Diclofenac anti-inflammatory if you are over-filled, or indeed if you think your tum may be inflamed. They do make them in suppositry form, I'm sure your Mum will know about them, her being a nurse. I got them on prescription from my GP, as I said i couldnt swallow them in tablet form. I have 'taken' them a few times and they did ease off the horrid feeling. Sorry not been around too much, have been scrouring the web for cheap flights to see my baby in Austrailia. Takes forever. I have to do it as cheap as pos, but still want to see a lot of the far east. Booked with BA for 31st October to Hong Kong for £397. So am on my way, something to keep me focused. by the way I smoked on Saturday night, when my mate was staying over. We sat outsude drinking wine, in the sunshine, I made a lovely curry and couldnt eat any, so had a few fags instead duh!! However am now back on track,I have excellent restriction so hopefully the weight loss will continue.

Xray Fills in the UK?
They are £90 in Manchester, Frederik does them. I've had 2 with him, he is charming and knows what he's doing too. EDIT: forgot to say the only place I know that does band adjusting by x-ray in the north west is the manchester x-ray.

Wow!!! Loads of posts to reply to, that I now forget who asked what!!! Shoes, my other port (in old band) used to move continuously and sometimes it used to get very sore, even 2 years after the op, so no I dont think its strange hun. I used to massage it and it used to move back, not straight away but it did help. Odge you smelly person, get in that bath :tt2::eek: I cant eat a teaplate full of food in one go, so I spose my restriction must be good. I did what that Amelia did and used a tiny container yesterday with mushy cauliflower cheese in, but only managed 2 spoonfuls. yes Annie I know I have to stay off the choccy, thats what knackered me up last time. I find that I cant even drink my coffee when I get up, yet I can nibble a tiny piece of toast, is anyone having this too??? I dont understand why. Garry you look good, damn what a guy!!!!

To all the girlies going for their ops soon, you'll never regret this decision. I cant believe just how many posts there are to read, I must confess I havent got the time to read all. So glad your internet is back on Sammy:tongue2: You have done well, my weight has only started moving with the last fill... it didnt before, which proves you need quite a bit in to get the restriction. I have trouble with liquids too Sammy, and can only eat a little food. But I have been bad and have been scoffing ice cream and chocolate this weekend. Things must change now, I have been doing a little walking too. Sometimes you can lose inches and not pounds, cos I fitted into a pair of pants that were tight on the waist, yet the scales says the same. I was watching that Amelia chick's youtube story for ages last night, but didnt get to the tt part, took forever and I even skipped some pages. She had a bypass, but she looked older than her mother with all the weight and now she looks amazing.

evening girlies, glad you're all in fine fettle. My fill has eased off a little now, but still having trouble drinking anything, yet I can eat a little, so weird. I was delighted today when I could fasten comfortably a pair of pants that were tight a few weeks back. Its a great feeling and so worth it.

Well I'm sorry hun, but even if they lose it the "natural way" they will put it back on the "natural way" too and more. We have all tried every diet and food fad over the years to know that nothing works in the long term, except surgery. Saying that..... atm I'm reading that Jon Gabriel book, the guy who shed loads of weight without dieting or surgery and has no loose skin.

I may be wrong but I thought you could only check in online if you didnt have any hold luggage (no suitcase). Mmm what a great idea naming our bands....I will give this some thought.

Great news HC, you wont be sorry hunny. Tin that GP is not the nicest of docs is he, in fact I would be inclined not to give him my business and change doctors...nasty man. There's just no need to act that way, if we were all dead rich we wouldnt have to go abroad for surgery, silly silly man.

Thanx for the pm Sammy. Poor Harrison, babys do wriggle so dont they. I bet he cried eh. I hope it doesnt turn into a black eye, but I'm sure it wont. Hey Flirtydrawers, poor Garry is getting all hot and bothered, no good for his blood pressure. lol

I want to give up
I take it you dont have a printer or else you could copy and paste and then print. Like someone else has said, go elsewhere for your fills, seems like that surgeon of yours doesnt want to give you the aftercare which is essential. He is not doing himself any favours, because that is very poor and the word will soon get about. Good luck hun.

Hey Sammy, glad you're back girl, you do get around dontcha. yes I think I am in the same boat as you, been dying for you to get back to exchange stories. The first night was horrendous, I kept waking every hour choking. I have learnt my lesson now, dont drink anything before retiring. How is Harrison, hope he's better. Glad you still have your secret btw lol. Have you lost more weight hunny? How small do they make everything...damn idiots, you're not very big, so how would a really large person go on...they make me sick, catering only for the skinnies.

I want to give up
I know I'm not part of your group, but really felt I should reply. You poor thing, dont blame yourself, you have done nothing wrong. Like the other sweeties have said you havent had enough fills yet. I had my first fill after 6 weeks cos my surgeon was on holiday, so i went somewhere else, I had to pay, but i didnt care. Then I had my second fill on 9th may and then i had another 5 days later. man....I couldnt sleep that night, kept choking on the milk I had drunk. here we are 5 days later and I still can only take tiny portions, and have lost 4kilos. So go for it hunny, get those fills booked now!

Wishfull, wonderful news!! Thats 3 of us so far. Thanx about my restriction Penny, only one problem, I have some meds that I need to take every day, and they stick like mad, even if I cut them or if I crush them they taste is vile. But we're getting along fine, me and my band..... I absolutely love it to bits. Garry you are a star helping all the newbies out, so very kind to us all too, bless. Flirty, you poor thing being so poorly after your surgery, you have had it tough. xxx

My bad, i had a drink the second night I was home, to numb the pain you know, purely medicinal lol. If you can take it, enjoy it. Did anyone say you couldnt have alcohol? My surgeon didnt tell me not to, so I thought I need one and I'm having one. atm I am struggling trying to get an alcoholic drink down, but i am persevering

Ok, now its my turn, has anyone experienced this? I had the fill with freddy boy on thursday and still I cant drink so good, at anytime of the day, mornings being the worst. I have been up for a couple of hours and usually I have drunk two mugs of coffee by now. But I managed an Actimel and I am sipping Prune juice ( for regularity, seems to have stopped:blink:) I spose if nothings going in...well I'm not even going there.:rolleyes2: But my coffee is still sitting on my desk, gone cold. I thought by now it would have eased a little, but no, I am so tight, never been like this before, has anyone else? I spose this is what I wanted from day one, I'm not complaining, just amazed!!!
