  1. 4th Day post-surgery.  Feeling great, positive, looking forward to a healthy me.  No pain whatsoever in my surgical site, no nausea or stomach problems. Some rib pain and shoulder pain is still there, but trying to be active through it.   Beautiful weather, makes it is to be outside and walk around, get my steps and fresh air in.😁  Starting a few easy chores around the house.

  3. Day five, post op RNY. I'm really struggling with keeping up my water intake and protein. My pain is under control and my incision sites look great.

Hi, yes it was a pain in the beginning, just like many of us it just takes time. Make sure you atleast are trying to sip every 15 mins as inconvenient that is, you will target getting your fluids in. Once I had this routine, by week 3-4 I was able to drink more frequently so just give your body time to adjust to the new changes which btw congrats on your surgery, but it'll get better. Best of luck!

  4. Things are overwhelming right now. I expected it, but anyway... *sigh*

Got a really short fuse today.

I remember those days. I am sorry you are overwhelmed but just know many of us are going through this and you arent alone, before you know it you are going to be a better you and just think about you future you. Tell your future you that you got this, try to be motivated, think about why you got the surgery, you got to go through pain to get to the end. Best of luck to you! You got this! Trust me it will be all worth it. My 1 year is approaching and I cant believe how fast it went by. Take care.
