  1. I"m new to this so I think I posted this in the wrong place previously. Surgery was 6/8. I drink 2 Premier Protein shakes and 1 premier Protein Drink a day. When I try to eat it seems like it gets stuck and I've thrown up 2x. I'm not getting the 600 calories that they say I need but I am getting 80 grams of Protein daily. I've only lost 20 lbs and I think it should be more with getting so little in calories. I can't get much Water down because I cannot stand it.

What are you guys eating /drink on a typical day? Any advice is welcome as I think I'm doing this all wrong...

  2. Have someone pound on your back it helped me a lot. Which Dr. did your surgery?

Tomorrow you will get another IV treatment and then they will be done with you. I bought the vitamin patches from them as well as the Unjury chicken broth which is not bad. I ordered from Amazon the Premier Protein Clear that they give you and the chocolate shakes which I drank on my second day. Travel day back to Cleveland was a little rough but just take it slow. We can do this together!!!

I wanted to start this thread for all the June Sleevers to share updates on their progress. When did you have your surgery? How many days are you post-op? How has your recovery been? Have anything you're struggling with? What does your post-op diet look like?

I'll go first! I had my surgery on 6/8. Surgery went really well, had an outpatient surgery so I was home same day. Recovery was really good, pain the first few days, now I'm pretty much back to my regular grind. I am struggling with my post-op diet a bit, but more so because I'm wishing I could have some real creamy Soups. I pretty much have 21 days of a sugar free clear liquid diet with the exceptions of two Protein Shakes. This is just phase 1. Phase 2 I move onto soft foods for 3 weeks, then solid foods. I haven't quite seen the weightloss I was hoping (3lbs), but you have to trust the process.

Yours is 4 days before mine. Mine is June 15th.

    Hi -

I had my sleeve 1 week ago. It went really well except for the pain I am having in my shoulder I think is from the gas or from the Heital Hernia repair they did. I started drinking Protein Shakes on day 3. The said it was ok to do that for another week then I can add soft/pureed food. I guess different doctors say different things. I am having trouble getting in all my fluids. I've lost my thirst!! Here's to our journey to a whole new life...
