Hi there lilbit! I got banded back in Oct 07. It seemed like I was never going to start losing! I've had several fills and finally started losing about three months ago. I'm down about 53 pounds. It's not as fast as I'd like, but it's getting there! I'm going for another fill on the 17th. How are things with you?

Do the surgery the very first chance you get, don't be afraid to have the surgery, be afraid not to have it!

Your man will be just fine, he's just worried he'll have to work a lil bit to keep you happy that's all (wink, wink).

Wow that's a lot in itself, well hopefully it will all work out and go well in January for you. all together i feel fine and i'm really loving it, i was getting all prepared for all the stories i had heard and to try and brace myself. and didn't even go through all that with the surgery pain, 1st fill,eating and getting things stuck. it is soo much smoother than what i had thought it would be. i'm still learning my band but i love it and only regret i didn't do it sooner! hang in there and let me know how things go with you !

thanks for checkin in on me..well i am ok..i had my consult scheduled for today 12/4 only to get to work monday to find out that we are no longer going to be using cigna and that as of 1/09 we are going to be using aetna's insurance.that caused me to have to reschedule my consult til after the 1st and i am now scheduled for the 6th. there was no reason in me going and having them run things thru with cigna if come january it is switching to aetna. :frown: i wont know too much about the plan until it gets closer to the 1st. i can call them but without giving them all the group # etc they wont know exactly what the job picked for the co..

hello , i was just checking in on you to see how it was going and if you were close on making a decision yet? i got my first fill monday and it was soo much smoother than what i thought and heard it would be.
