  1. Thank you for your advise. I’m currently in the process. I started my first nutrition class today! I’m very exited and hope they approve me.
  2. I’m 32 years old. He says I’m still young and surgery should be the last resource.
  3. Thank you for the advice. I’m going to change because I really need this surgery. I’m going to request a sleep study and hopefully it gets approved.
  4. I don’t. He did lab work and a complete scam and he said I’m healthy. I just need to lose weight. He said I should be able to accomplish by diet and exercise. But in the last 6 months I have gained over 40 lbs and I’m very stressed.
  5. I currently live in Texas. I need a referral in order for Medicaid to consider it; since I don’t have private insurance. According to Medicaid it has to be a medical need.
  6. I want to get weight loss surgery but my PCP won’t approve. I’m currently 294 with a height of 5 feet. They tell me no because I have no comorbilities. Does anyone have suggestions?
