That’s awesome to hear! So happy for your success!

I’m 5 months post op and I wasn’t hungry at all the first few months. I would contact your dr/nutritionist if you feel something is out of the ordinary.

I felt that way for probably 2 weeks and then it eases up.

My surgeon requires all patients do a 3 week pre-op diet, I lost 14 pounds. Clear Soups 8 oz daily, 2 Protein Shakes, and you can have 1 sugar free Jello or sugar free pudding a day. I had the traditional duodenal switch in January ‘20.

Hi, new here! I’m 3 months post op - traditional duodenal switch surgery with Ultimate Bariatrics out of Fort Worth Texas and my stats are as follows. Highest weight 333, day of surgery weight 309, and current weight 265. Im curious how much everyone else had lost by their 3 month post op? Thanks!

Nausea

I’m 5 months post op Duodenal Switch. For the last week I’ve experienced nausea early in the morning and again in the evening. I’ve thrown up a few times. I haven’t been sick at all since surgery, so I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this months after surgery? Thanks!
