  1. Hi y’all,
I asked this question way far down in my other thread so I wanted to highlight it. I told my friend who had had sleeve surgery and had successfully lost about how much I’ve been pushing myself to walk. I’m day 12 today and feel really weak today and been pushing for 10k steps a day. I walked 4 miles on Friday and 3.3 miles yesterday and 2.8 miles on Thursday. I didn’t hit 10k steps on Thursday (6500) or Saturday (7200) but I did on Friday. Prior to surgery I averaged about 3000 steps a day.
She sent me Dr. Vhong videos (Dr. V as she call him) telling me to watch and he is saying I should be walking for sure, but not pushing myself this much. What are your thoughts? I appreciate your feedback and support sooo much!!

I watch Dr. V as well...I definitely wouldn't push. Do what you can COMFORTABLY.

  2. I agree with AJ. Keep your eye on the prize! At 23...you have youth on your side. Co centrate on getting through the surgery...making the changes necessary to get to your 250 pound goal! Loose skin with major weight loss is inevitable...don't let that be your deciding factor. You've come too far to stop now! Good luck to you and I can't wait to hear about your progress![emoji3059]

  3. I'm in Maryland! I'm also nervous/excited, and tbh the fact that this was sprung on me so unexpectedly is probably a good thing... my next appt, which wasn't supposed to be for another month, is now on Tuesday, so I can't do any "last meals" or crazy binges on all my favorite junk, like pizza, ice cream, etc. Am I the only one mourning the loss of crap food?
Absolutely not! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I have been having "food funerals" every week.

  4. Yep, it will eventually resolve. Here they have closed everything that isn't neccessary. Like all dentist app. that arent acuute, all surgeries that aren't acute, hair dressers, spas, swimming and work out facilities, all schools, all kindergartens, all public offices, not allowed to gather more than 10 people and those 10 have to be a meter apart and so on. They opt everyone to have home office if possible, people are layed off. Grocery stores and pharmacies are open. It is what it is. That is also why I am beeing realistic at this point that your WLS surgergies sadly probably won't go as planned all of them. I wish this for all of you, but I wish that everyone is healthy and that we limit possiblities of spread at the top of my food chain.
    Where do you live?

    It's MY time!
