You are just banded. it takes several fills to get good restriction adn everybdoy is different. Do a good bandster diet of solid protein, beggies, and a olittle fruit, drink LOTS of no caloric liquids, and EXERCISE. That will Jump Start your metabolism. FIlls have to go slowly so your tummy will not get upset. IT'll happen.

Just found this article. I had the band in May 2005 and Plastic Surgery at Stanford - four of them the past two years. I now teach Lapband patients on adjusting to WLS. Are you still interestd in my sotry, or is it too late??

I was Dr. Krahn's second band in 2005. He is very thorugh, has been with me for 4 plastics. You will love him.

I had mine done twice, once in )ct 2006 - then secondly for the mid abdomen in June 07. The second one gangrened and died - got VERY infected. It had to be debrided an dpacked for 3 months - wnet about an inch deep. It finally filled in but no belly button. don't let it go. It will get infected and get numb. Not good. Mine was well taken care of - died anyhow.Get it treated.

What school in Corona? I started at Raney in 1968 - taught all over until 1990. Mt husband is still an administrator for adult ed. I'm walking a half marathon on May 7. I had my surgery with Dr. Krahn, first LapBnad approved by Blue Shield. I'll be in Corona April 8.

I live in the Central Coast Redwoods of CA (Santa Cruz area) but also have a home in South CA- Corona. I was banded May 2005 In San Bernardino, Dr. Krahn, and follow up at Stanford. Would love emails about band issues and give/recieve support. Right now I'm training for a half marathon through TNT.
