I hate when I see someone I know and when I walk pass them they just sit there and stares as I walk away, like I can feel you staring at me

I am the same person just a little lighter lol smh IMG_20200221_175756_224.jpeg

Maybe they are not sure that you are you. Lol. I have ran into people who have either gained weight or lost weight and i wasn't 100% sure who they were at first glance. Just tell them hi, maybe your voice will help remind them.

Yup, I was the same way. The surgeon recommended RNY, but left the decision to me for that very reason. My reflux has been bad and was getting worse and when I read that the sleeve may aggravate the problem, it was then a no brainer for me.

Hey, is anyone else oscillating between being very excited to 'what the heck am I doing'? That's why I love coming on this site at times, although when I read about some other's complications, I get nervous again...

I started teetering the past few days, I am trying to wrap my head around the fact that I won't be able to eat certain foods ever again. I am thinking if I can do this pre-op diet that should get me on the right track to losing weight. Idk what to do.

  3. Quite a few years ago I had dropped 30 lbs rather quickly, I had stopped taking the birth control I was on and started dieting and exercising, and I was accused of doing drugs! I was like No! I have made some good life style changes!

  4. They want you to have good, healthy, oxygenated blood for your surgery. This will help with the healing process as well. They test for continue and most want you to be 4 weeks clean. I was reading in another forum where the lady said she kept flunking her drug test. Which she admitted she smokes weed. So a heads up to anyone engaging in that as well.

Ummm… that's a good idea! I was thinking about what to wear to the hospital, what's easy to get in and out of... the bra thing is definitely an issue for me because I have big girls to deal with and I have to snap into my bra and then twist it around.... hmmmm… may not be a good idea post op.

I do have a front zip up sports bra …. I'm going to dig that out. I will likely be in my sweat pants and I will take my hoodie jacket. It will still be cold here, but I'm hoping for no late snow storms... this winter has been very unpredictable….

I was trying to think of what to pack to wear, probably leggings and my regular bra should be okay. I just want to be comfortable. I did order new slippers, because the ones I am wearing now look pretty rough.

I live in Ohio and I know we are supposed to get snow next week, but my surgery isn't scheduled until Mar 27th, so it will be hard to say what will be happening here then.
