Does anyone know a fill doc in egypt

i am in Saudi Arabia now and there are tons of fills Doctors but my collage will start first week of October

(in Egypt) and i don't know any doctors there

Could someone guide me?

I don't know which is worse...drinking too much alcohol or too many milkshakes!

sorry i didn't mean to imply that your liver is enlarged because of drinking i just read somewhere in the forum about this issue and this is what i understood from the topic

it is good to have Jello once in a while

it shuts up the hungry stomach lol

i use KIRKLAND signature Daily Multi Vitamins and Minerals but i break the tablet in half before i swallow because its kind of big

and i don't taste it much i just swallow it:thumbup:

about the pre-op diet:

the doctor told me i should only drink liquids one day before the surgery

and thats it!!

may be because of my age and the fact that i never drank alcohol in my life my liver was not enlarged so much

but thats only what i think, i didn't get the chance to ask the doctor

i didn't know about the Multivitamins for life, i guess the doctor was going to prescribe another 6 months of it

i also think the antibiotic is for a quick healthy recovery for the stomach and the wound

i used to smoke but i quit few months ago i occasionally smoke (hubbly-bubbly) and it doesn't cause coughing nor munchies at all!!

i was banded in 30/08/2008 and now when i cough i feel i am ripping the stitches on my stomach and i feel excruciating pain

i try not to cough as much as i can

do i have to worry about it???

i am really happy now i am eating less than half a bowl of Soup per meal twice a day

i drink a lot of Water and sugar free apple juice every day and the medications as well

hey everybody i got banded :frown: on Saturday the 30th of August

i have little pain :w00t: at the incision site and the band it self is irritating me a little bit :tt2:

today i had my first Soup :frown:, i was living on Water the past 2 days and the I.V. :smile:

my doctor prescribed a multi Vitamin tablets for 6 months

and stomach tablets for 1 month

and an antibiotic for 1 week

my doctor didn't ask for a pre-operative diet neither

and he is on of the best in Jeddah he did the surgery for 3 of my friends without any complications nor pre-operative diets

i guess it is just optional or depending on the patients liver size

and the amount of fatty tissue in the abdominal cavity

this is my first thread

and my surgery is on Saturday

in King Fahd General Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
