    Hey everyone
I can’t imagine the new me. I weigh on Mondays. Got no more of gout and my acid reflux is super low. No medications at all for awhile now. Used to be about 245lbs and now 145.5. Never thought I’ll ever be there. I should start working out soon. The best thing is no craving at all. And the trick I’m doing for that is whatever I want to eat or drink, I go and get couple tiny bites/sips and that’s it (I’m loosing weight with that without any stalls) Water consumption is getting better, now I have couple choices for water. I ate almost all types of foods so far, but do not prefer sugary foods, and carbs such as rice, noodles, french fries ..etc. they make me feel full and I feel like I didn’t eat anything that adds value to me. And guess what everybody, I’m wearing small sizes from XXL and 30w skinny jeans from 44w regular. Energy levels are high. The only thing That gotten worse from before surgery is the dizziness I get when I suddenly stand up, but that’s still no big deal comparing to the benefit of being fit and living normal

How is everybody doing with their fluids intake? Do you guys still get dehydrated? I had some issues with dehydration, but now it’s getting easier to drink Water. Got my surgery on the 22nd of January, lost about 45lbs in week 3 ( didn’t eat almost anything for couple days or drink much the first 3weeks). Didn’t have to have pre op diet. The only issues I’m facing right now is gout attacks in my legs because I had a lot of liver with a lot of hot sauce for three days in a row 😅. The other issue I’m having is acid reflux when I lay down. The doctor gave 3 types of medications to take through out the day for the reflux, but I don’t like relying on the pills, so I’m visiting a Korean alternative medicine doctor who told me can fix the reflux with acupuncture. Paid him a visit last Thursday, and I have another appointment next Thursday. The reflux status is good so far after I got my first appointment along with avoiding the food that triggers the acids in my pouch. Sorry for the long message. I was just sharing what’s in my mind.

    Hi everyone
I posted on the other old post, then discovered this one. I had my surgery back on Jan 22nd. Almost 3 weeks post. Couldn’t wait to start puree/soft food last Tuesday Feb 4th(My diet require me to start puree/soft food 3 weeks after surgery). No issues so far except Constipation. Trying out green tea with mint and I’ll see the results. I also had heartburn and not sure if It was because blended strawberries or because 0 fat greek yogurt. I go nauseous from broths, from my Vitamins, and from my Protein Shakes. Another thing that I’m facing is dizziness, short breath, high heart pulse rate when I stand up quickly or when I climb the stairs (live on the third floor). The good news is that this isn’t because a leak, but because the lack of food. They did blood count for me and everything is looking good.
Sorry for the long message. I just wanted to share the whole experience.

I registered to the website earlier today. I wish I knew you guys before my surgery on January 22nd. I’m almost three weeks post op. I couldn’t read the whole 56 pages. Anyone here is where I’m right now (3 weeks on puree/soft food diet)? How’s your recovery doing? Do you have to wait 4-6 weeks for recovery like my surgeon told me? Anything you think is important that we should know at this time?
    sorry to ask a lot
I’m just trying to find matches, so we could help each other
