Infamous stall?
I start my fasting at 7:30pm until 11:30am. I’m in bed by 9 - 9:30. I have pork rinds (zero calories) as a snack and Coke Zero . For lunch I will have a chicken salad or regular salad and a sensible dinner. I have been loosing 2 to 3 pounds a week. Going thru that stall I was sure the VSG didn’t work but once i read intermittent fasting helps I decided to try it and it worked!

June 2020 surgeries
So we must be surgery twins because I’m 3 1/2 weeks out as well and everything you mention is where I am or experiencing. I’ve lost 20lbs. Hooray for us cause that’s a lot in three and a half weeks. I have had good results with salmon and mash potatoes (small portions of course), applesauce is a life saver, apple juice ( helps with constipation) chicken n rice soup, chicken noodle, peanut butter even grits with a soft scrambled egg.. the regular foods are not our friend so stick to softer foods that don’t get stuck in your chest (which is what it feels like). I also walk in the house when it feels like I need to release the gas(burp) after eating.. So try what you can until you find your fit.. good luck VSG sister!

June Sleevers Post Op
I had my surgery 6/8 as well and everything went well I spent two days in the hospital because I wasn’t taking in enough liquid. The first week out the weight was falling off I was down 17.5lbs fast forward to last week and I gain two pounds. What is going on? I feel like did my surgery not work? Why am I gaining weight? On top of that here’s a list of things I’ve experienced after surgery. Burning in my lower abdomen from the blood thinner shot, gas and burping, weird stomach noises, itchy incisions?, a yeast infection from the meds they gave me in the hospital?oh and did I mention WEIGHT GAIN. The struggles are real. Can someone shed some light on the weight gain?

June 2020 surgeries
Yes! I had my surgery June 8 and I’m glad it’s over. I am now recovering at home and have already lost 16lbs since my post op visit on June 3rd. It’s been five days since my surgery and I’m still Stage 1 diet which is all liquids.. I would love a freshly fried piece of chicken let me tell ya... Lol but I’ll survive ? Good luck to all who are scheduled soon!!
