Lord have mercy.... ever since my surgery my new name is skinny BITSHHHH at work.... at time it was funny...now im starting to feel uncomfortable these same coworkers we have been working together for 19 ...20yrs ...and when i buy cute dresses and show them my pic the respond i get bak is so BLAH.... im thankful for this journey and the big change i have made physically and mentally but jeeeshhh the hate is very awkward at time cuz i am still the same person only thing i look way different....... all my so called friends or people i just talk to are soooo different now i see it but pay no mind ... Did the jaundice go away on its own or did you need anything from the hospital/Drs?

Too bad. My ex-coworkers didn't know I had surgery, they just thought I dieted and had the decency to be nice about my weight loss to my face. Maybe not telling co-workers should be considered by pre-surgery readers?

It's not fun in Nevada right now (we have a hot front right now, so not only is it blazing hot, it's also muggy T_T), but I'm making due.
Got a video game for my switch which lets me work out, and got a good workout with it (500 calories burned!). Ring Fit. It's fun.

Pretty good! Saw my nutritionist, who's a real hoot! had a couple of walks around the block (which is all I can do yet.) Otherwise hiding in the AC as usual. Social distancing like a mofo! =D

Is there anything you can do from home if your skin is a little jaundiced to correct it?

You look amazing! Sometimes people are not ready for ones growth! For me, I've always been the "big , funny, black girl" so I'm curious to see how everyone will be receptive to my change. I'm currently 2 weeks post-op and have lost 20lbs.

Well that explains why my bf keeps asking me if I have lost more weight 🤣
I still haven't come to terms with new figure. In some ways it's intoxicating because I have never felt "skinny" like I do now. But on the other hand, I really miss my curves.
This pic is me, one year ago, 20 lbs heavier. I prefer my body here, with exception of my tummy. Considering that's all getting LBL'd off anyway .... sigh ...

So today I felt like looking my age. 38 and I think I look great. Although I’m not sure about this dress. I saw it online, and had to order it. I hate that where I live I only have Walmart and A small Bealls to buy clothes in store. So I’m never sure how things will fit. I love the dress I’m wearing, just not sure about the length. I think it would look better with heels 👠, but I can only wear flat shoes (stupid foot). What do you all think?

I’ve been reading a lot of posts, and most of the posts that mention gaining back the weight, also mention soda pop, and alcohol. I worked hard to get here. I will not be easy on myself. That’s how I got to this point in the first place. If I want to be healthy, I have to have self discipline. Nobody else is going to do this for me.
Mike a rowing machine sounds great, if your gonna use it. How often do you use the bike? How often do you walk? What is your goal? I walk 5+ miles a day, and want to start swimming. Less pain on my hips.
