Yes! That's how they looked on the model, but not on me! LOL!! I will continue to the hunt for the perfect pair!
-
Problem is the jeans almost come up to my boobs!! Ha ha ha! I will find another pair that aren't quite as high! I'm going to place another Shein order, so maybe I will venture into body con!! LOL!!
-
The losers (aka the returns): Faux leather pants - look like a trash bag! Skinny jeans - way too high of a waist, super mom jeans Lantern top- not horrible but just doesn’t do anything for me The return process is easy and free, so I’ll be ordering from again! Fun way to try new clothes and very cheap!

Placed my first Shein order! Here’s my review of winners and losers! First up the winners; Raglan Tee Color block top Cardigan sweater Lantern sleeve top

Getting more and more used to the faja. Have it on the 2nd row of hooks. It looks silly, but I decided to leave the crotch flap open and just wear a pair of panties over the faja. It’s more comfortable and feels more sanitary. Added bonus is that the faja gives me a tiny booty! -
What food stage are you on? Maybe try going back 1 stage for a week and see if that helps?

I would say most if not all of us who have been through WLS had the same problem pre-op! We could lose the weight (or some of the weight), but couldn't keep it off. I was a pro at losing 50ls and gaining it right back! Best of luck to you!

I don't have an answers, but wanted to wish you good luck at the doctors! Please keep us posted on what the doctor recommends!

I love Disney! Staying hydrated is easy as there are free cups of ice water everywhere. Can even bring some crystal light on the go packets if you want to add flavor. As for snacks, could bring small bag of nuts, protein bar, cheese sticks, etc. Of course lots of snacks available for purchase too. All of the restaurants have healthy options, and at the counter service restaurants, I usually get a kids meal (I did this even pre WLS as the meal is plenty and it comes with a drink and dessert). When are you planning on going?

I had a TT and BL/BA 3 weeks ago, and really didn't have much pain at all. I was on pain meds for the first 3-4 days, which resulted in controlled pain levels, then after that I was on tylenol for another day or 2. I spent my first week in a recliner, which helped keep me comfortable as well. Short answer - pain is nothing, go for it! LOL!

Setting a goal weight?
ChubRub replied to Sleeved_in_MN's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When I told the nurse my goal was 130, she looked at me like I had said 85lbs! LOL! She said she would like to see me lose 70lbs, which was 70% of my excess weight at the time. Obviously, I disagreed, and went on to hit my own personal goal, plus a little extra! LOL! Boot camp weight sounds like a perfect goal!!! -

I will be 3wpo tomorrow! Just got back from another post op visit and I am officially drain free! Woo hoo! Boob tape was also removed. I’ll use antibiotic ointment for another week and see the surgeon again next week at which time I’ll likely we switched over to silicon tape. In honor of being drain free, I also switched over to my faja! Currently wearing an ab board with it. Not sure if I like the ab board or not but will keep it in for now! -
Sometimes it's a big pouch day (or meal) and sometimes it's a small pouch day. I'm a little over a year out, and I'll still have variation on when I feel restriction. The big thing in the beginning is to listen to your body. Don't assume that b/c you ate 6oz beans before, that you will be able to all 6oz next time. Eat slowly, and stop as soon as you feel it. In the beginning, I made the mistake of swallowing 1 more bite, and that's when I'd get the foamies and/or would need to vomit. Sounds like you are doing great! Best of luck to you!!

Woo Hoo!!! That's the best feeling!!!!

Drinking and eating at the same time
ChubRub replied to hel_co's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
You will get used to it!!! I used to be the type of person who would drink 3-4 refills of coke during a restaurant meal. I'm grossed out now just thinking about how I used to wash down junk food with junk soda, blech! You definitely eat a lot less when you aren't washing it down, with or without WLS! Best of luck to you! -
Thighs after weight loss
ChubRub replied to brwneyedgrl96's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My inner thighs are quite saggy. The good news is they are also quite skinny! So I look great in tight jeans or leggings, but not so great in shorts or mini skirts. My plan is to start heavy weights (for both thighs and arms) once I'm cleared to do so, and see if I can fill the loose skin up with some muscle. I'm the meantime, I'll just keep my thighs covered and only show off my good parts! LOL!! -

13DPO! Had another post op visit today. Got my boob tape removed and reapplied, and had 2nd drain removed. I’m no down to one drain! Yay! I’m a lot more mobile and have gotten pretty good at hiding my drain by tucking it in high waisted leggings! Once my jacket it zipped up, I almost look normal! Lol! -
Congrats on having a set date!! It will be here before you know it!!
