I'm glad that you adore your surgeon, but I disagree with him telling your mom and husband that it's their job to keep junk food away from you. You need to learn to say "no thank you" and resist the temptation. I say this is as someone who never met a donut/cake/brownie that I didn't like, someone who ate fast food every day, and sometimes 2x a day. Since surgery, I don't want that crap! My husband and kids had ice cream last night...no biggie. Now before surgery, I would have dug right in! LOL!!! Your taste buds will chance, your appetite will change, but you have to change too!! Don't expect others to do it for you!! Lots of hugs!!! You can do this!!

Congrats!!!! Perhaps the neck pain is from being in a weird position during surgery? If it's just muscle pain, some Icy Hot or Biofreeze will help!

The reason I chose bypass was b/c I read so many stories about people converting after the sleeve, and I didn't want to have a 2nd surgery down the road. I also had GERD, and didn't want it to get worse. My GERD completely went away after my bypass. I don't even need TUMS anymore...it's amazing!

I didn't tell my kids (only my husband knows). I just said I was going away for work and would be at a hotel for 1 night. I'm sneaky like that! LOL!! Best of luck with your surgery!!

A lot of women do BBL for their booties, but for me, it seems weird to re-inject fat that I've been trying so hard to get rid of! I'm not thrilled with my thighs, but am hoping that the TT will help that a bit!!

Yes, it's the same thing as a LBL, my doc just uses different terminology. My upper thighs are saggy, so I'm hoping for that lift!! My booty is flat, and sadly will stay that way b/c the lift only flattens it even more, so I see lots of squats in my future! Getting rid of side boob will be amazing! I still remember white water rafting years ago and my side boobs were coming out of the arm holes of my life jacket! Yuck! One mistake I made with WLS was not taking a "before" pic, so I will definitely make sure to have lots of before and after pics of PS!! LOL at finding excuses to take off your clothes!! Instead of pulling my shirt down all of the time to cover my flab, it might be nice to let it ride up a few inches if there is a nice flat tummy underneath!!
