    Pre-op

There are tons of free workout videos on YouTube. My favorite series is Popsugar Fitness.
  2. You will be fine to travel by train 4-6 weeks after surgery! You would be fine to do it 2 weeks after if you wanted to do so. Good luck!!!
  3. I try to keep my calories the same (600-800), but if it's a heavy exercise day I might lean towards the higher end of my range. Lately though, exercise has made me less hungry, and just really thirsty. I think it's also from the heat!!

    Got my reschedule date

Oh no!!! Boo!!! Fingers crossed things get better down there soon and you are back on the schedule!!
  5. Agree with others that person picking you up will not have to sign anything. Good luck w/ everything!
  6. In my limited experience, hospitals usually discharge people between 2pm-3:30pm. Also, the hospital isn't going to kick you out if your ride isn't there yet. I would schedule them to pick you up at 3pm, and the day of discharge just let your nurses know that's what time you are being picked up and they should be able to make sure you are ready to leave by then.

    Recipes

Lots of great ideas and recipes here: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/08/pureed-foods.html
  9. My kids don't even know, only my husband. I just didn't want to deal with judgment or gossip, so I've kept everything private. When people comment that I look thin, I joke that I've been on a quarantine diet and since all the restaurants are closed, I had no choice but to finally learn how to cook a healthy meal!

    Pregnant!

Congratulations!!! Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
  11. Can you reschedule if need be? I'm scheduled for PS in January (I was 36lbs from goal when I scheduled), and am pretty confident I will be at goal weight before my surgery. My surgeon will let me reschedule, however, if need be. It was only a $500 deposit to book the surgery, which was well worth it for me to get on the schedule. Good luck, and join us on the Plastic Surgery board!

    Work after Surgery

I would advise to reschedule. However, if it means losing out on a big client, then maybe you could get someone to drive you back and forth, and you could sleep in the car?

    Arm Lift Experiences?

Following this thread as I've thought about arm lift and/or thigh lift for round 2 someday, but am also concerned that I'm just trading flab for a scar and that I won't have a great result. Ever see the Shark Tank episode with "Skinnies" which were stickers for an instant arm or thigh lift. My guess is they don't work, but I wish that technique would work for surgery, pulling it all up without the vertical incision. I'm great at pulling my skin up, just don't have anywhere to put it. LOL!
  14. So exciting!!! Good luck, and can't wait to see pics!!
  15. Good to hear that you are on top of the wound care. Hope everything heals quickly!!!

    Feeling Guilty(as I should)

Perhaps writing down your recent experience, as well as your emotions and feelings afterwards would help? Use it as a tool to prevent you from making the same choice next time. Remember how guilty (out of control???) you felt after eating the BBQ food. Hopefully reflecting back on that will help you make a better choice next time. Visualize going to a party, turning down the food, stepping on the scale the next day and feeling pride, instead of guilt. Best of luck to you!
  20. It sounds like your biggest concerns are related to your mental health. I would talk to your Psych (or whoever is RXing the Seroxat), to discuss any implications the surgery may have on your symptoms, meds, etc. As far as the business lunches are concerned, I wouldn't even worry about it. You can always just order something light, eat a little bit, and push it around your plate. It's common to be talking so much that even "normal" people don't each much of their meal. With a 32 BMI, you likely won't get insurance to pay for it, but of course double check with your insurance provider, and you can always look into paying out of pocket. Good luck!!
