I really like the expression, "Blowing out someone else's candle won't make yours shine any brighter." I find it's applicable to many situations in life. Usually the insecure who put others down to feel better about themselves, especially women to other women. I try to surround myself with people who lift each other up.

I'd go for the filet mignon w/ veggies instead of the potato. Chew it really well so it doesn't try to come back up! LOL!!

Congratulations!!! That is a huge milestone!!! I agree with weight loss becoming more noticeable in 5lb increments as you get smaller. I'm noticing it with clothing sizes too! CONGRATS again!!!!!

Another fun condiment - Wasabi Sauce. I initially got it for ahi tuna, but now I put it on everything!

I love most flavors of Greek yogurt, but my absolute fave is this Caramel Apple Pie yogurt. Has chunks of baked apple in it and it really hits the spot!!

Just crack an egg. I could prepare the ingredients myself but this is great for when I’m lazy. I use an egg white instead of a whole egg.

Get out of my brain!!! LOL!! I'll add one other thing: I've always wanted to be a great singer (My voice is horrible, but man, I've got the moves!)

I can't wait for my boob job!! I was a 34D until I was 30 or so, and then as I put on weight, had kids, etc, they became ginormous. I'm down to a 36DD so far, with 16lbs to go until goal. I would love to be a perky full C or small D. Even without WLS, I would have wanted my boobs done. Pretty much everyone in my social circle has had a lift or BA by age 40, so I need to catch up! LOL!!

@Darktowerdream I love reading your updates!! It sounds like you have your wound care routine down pat, I'm impressed! I can only imagine how fabulous you look in your new romper! When you finally wear it, please post a pic!! Thanks also for the info on Stage 2 fajas! I still have a lot to learn about the various post-surgical garments. Hope your healing continues to go well!

I am I evil if I would enjoy my husband putting on 20lbs, so I would be smaller next to him? LOL!!! Fortunately, I don't outweigh him anymore, so I guess I'll let him stay as is!

The good news is that you are 18. You still have GREAT skin!!! I would not be surprised that after maintaining your goal weight for 1 years, you don't even need surgery. Take measurements, and check your progress!!! I might have $$ for plastic surgery but it's only b/c I'm older which means I have the old lady skin that goes with it. I'd rather be young and broke!! LOL!!! Seriously, I think you will be fine!!

Years ago, I had the unfortunate experience of spending some time at Children's Hospital. My husband and I would eat in the cafeteria there, and I would joke that you could tell who worked there and who was the family member of a patient based on the food on their plates. All the workers were eating salads and sandwiches, while all of the family members were eating cheeseburgers, pizza, nachos, etc. Call it comfort food, call it stress eating, it's all the same. Even people without weight issues tend to turn to food when emotions run high. I also agree about snacking out of boredom, especially with my own kids! My guess is one of them is in the pantry looking for snacks right now! LOL!
