  2. Nice Job! Dang i wished i would have used one of those APP's Cool to see. The exercise thing sucks No doubt but if you do bust your ass for a month seems to become a routine the second month and by the third month just another habit and event of the day.

    Yes it is - I am the same as you Hire a good nutritionist It made it really easy - Converting Fat to muscle is very hard for us, Jake here is in the same boat, I have found the MRE powders and body building products to help but very hard and slow to do.

    I am a master champion at throwing up! But i will say it usually is when i eat out, or cross the line. I have a hell of a time sitting and eating - Add some Food sprays or pan coatings and its coming right back up. That is the problem with alot of us - Doc says its just your body saying NO GO - Not putting that chemical or garbage in me anymore.
  8. You are way off on the Calories - First of all not sure where that number came from, but 750 HEALTHY CALORIES plus supplements and vitamins is fine. That is a number only a number, your body will determine what it needs based on usage and demand. I was a huge dude taking in 6000 calories a day most likely, I ran on 600 calories a day for the long time and shred the weight. Now I am trying to hold and get tight so up to 1000 and vits and supps. I feel so much better now then when i was running on Junk - Its a plan you adjust to your own body, No you are not starving yourself you are becoming healthy. Next time you out at a grocery store look for someone that is tight and fit, Now look in there cart. Knuff said - Its not the quantity its the quality

Been there done that I definitely used Vodka to escape my company and stress of raising two kids, If i was to guess he is a evening drunk, I never have drank during the day, but hot damm hit 5 and i slowly start, Once the kids disappear out or go to bed its game on - Drink myself to sleep! Oh so now im half lit up even as a trained culinary person what do i eat? Bag of Frito. Pizza or some other garbage, You are correct the two are definitely inter wined. I would love to say i quit drinking Post WLS but i have not, Nice thing is i can not handle it so the WLS has put huge limits on it. Giving up drinking is hard he may need some time to get over this, To put WLS on top of that may be to much, I would start by slowly getting healthy and changing our habits. Drinking is gone, Now we slowly get a little more healthy each day. So as he progresses he may want to do the tool of WLS. Then you have won he did it because he was feeling healthier and happier. Life Sucks we all have issues so you are not alone

    Travel light Comfy lay around the house on a sunday outfit, I did not shower in the hospital since i got out the next day, Trust all of us on this after the surgery is done put on your comfy close before they hook up the IV and get you body walking and moving. You will be so much better if you walk around 15 min per hour = Less Gas move out air and begin to feel good. It is the key to this

Not hard but wont be fun I am doing this for my x wife as we speak she is getting it done end of May Since i have a nurta girl who handles me here is her plan Gallons of Broth, she has a band on he wrist and has to move 5 miles a day, Lucky she hits that easy at work, She eats small portion and low calorie food 6 times a day. For example today she will be eating chunked chicken, veggies two shakes and grapes. But she can sip and drink broth all day. She hates it and is miserable but she realizes the rewards seeing me. Going to prep her food today for the next three days here is it for dinner and lunch - Breakfast for her is a yogurt and shake. I will make two of each and she can mix and match them up - Goal is to keep her under 900 calories a day. Not easy because she cheats at work. and If tired blows the day with the Starbucks drive thru suicide coffee creations. 1. 7 oz salmon cauliflower rice and grapes 2. 7 oz skirt steak Avocado and asparagus and fruit cup 3. Chicken sausage one link, Brown fried rice with egg and tons of veggies I am professional trained in the kitchen - Use a App to track your calories and be careful with the sauces, seasonings and oils. You can have a healthy piece of fish and ruin the healthy side with a glaze or sauce!

    I just started trying gummies and they suck - They seem to hit hard and stick in the tummy. I prefer the liquids myself better absorption rate and easy to just do shots. and they are already dissolved

  15. Well i found my twin! I am a 52 year old male that has always worked and a great dad! However i had another side of heavy drinking, Unhealthy eating, Playing with girls, Harleys and Boats. My marriage ended mutually and i to this day still have full custody of the kids, We are friends and close. So what did it take For me it was a very close buddy More like a brother died on a Friday Night less then two hours after i left his house, He was a train wreck also and we ran together feeding off each of our desire to tear it up. Then a month later i went down and ended up in Naples Community Cardiac Ward with 99 percent blockage of the widow maker. Somehow they fixed it but laying on that table and wondering if i would every see my kids again turned on the light. My ex tried for a decade to save me, but could not. I took a scare from hell to do it! Guys are stubborn and fierce defenders of there faults, We do not listen we only rationalize our issues thru bull poop. My suggestion is to explain to him He is going to end up in a coffin early have serious health issues and finish his life short and miserable. This is a medical fact Explain to him you have had a good run, You played hard, it is time to back it down and get healthy again. I regret not starting earlier I have done serious damages that may not be fully fixable, so if you can get him to focus on the path he is running down will kill him he may wake up. I disagree with the band, It may work but once he gets it off he will balloon right back. He has to be in it for life or why bother, I do not give marriage advice since i suck at marriages, but try and inform him not push him. If he is drinking let it go, we become even more confrontational when intoxicated. Good luck

    There are alot of plain Drinks and heck just drink water - Not sure how or why you are drinking sweet drinks anyhow?

Some can make sure you have the low calorie version - However you need them so get you calorie and meal plan in order - You weight is going to bounce all over the place for the first month while you body heals. Once on the proper plan it gets easy. You can not stop taking them you need the protien to heal! Do not panic this is a journey and you are only 8 days out. Trust me this gets easier and balanced as you go thru the journey. Ask away there are a ton of us who have been in your shoes

It appears to me you are on the right course - I have not been at this long so the gaining back i can not answer but i will tell you that it will help your health/ Only you can decide if you will be able to use this tool to save your life! Seems like a no brainer to me but you have to do the work. Do not cry just get it done and get healthy and happy

    I drink vodka protien water so it was fine, My doctor appears to be more layed back and said a little drink will be ok alot of drinks and you will screw yourself up. Take a Sip let it settle see how it feels

  22. No you are fine - Your body is going thru healing and you are holding water - Just stay on the plan and remember this is a journey not a sprint. You are in the toughest times right now and it gets easier and smoother as you go along

    Here is he meal prep i do for my oldest son and myself who is eating the same as me This is the meal plan for this week in my house Already done cooked and in the containers - I do this every 5 days and we both eat on meal for lunch and dinner. I do not prep breakfast since it always is changing schedules Cubed Steak - 7 0z and 1/2 cup of rice 1/2 cup of brocallie and a slice of apple Halibut 7oz and brocolie rice - 1/2 cup peas and carrots slice of pineapple Buffalo chicken cubed 12 asparagus spears - Lettuce to use as wraps - 10 Grapes Pulled pork - 1/2 re fried beans - 1/2 avocado and a banana 5 Ribs - whole sweet potato small - 1/2 cup of peas and carrots - Fruit cup You can season with Dash or other low sodium sugar free spices. NO OIL OR FAT - For the buffalo chicken you can not use wing sauce get the buffalo seasoning -

    Great Post and i agree 900 calories is plenty - Hope you hit the goal and I totally agree this was he best decision i have ever made also! Hit the goal and have a bag of Cheetos
  25. On the low days is the not working out days - This is not for WLS it is for me working on muscle and toning I can not go over 1000 calories on even work out days! Dont forget this does not include 4 muscle shakes and smoothies also per day. This is just for my food
