Congratulations best journey you will have - My advice is simple and it is posted everywhere on this site The surgery is a tool not a solution, you need to get your head on straight and your plan, You plan includes your protein, and most importantly your vitamins and minerals. Be careful of all the marketing out there keep it simple, but keep yourself balanced. The head games are brutal so be ready and just post or ask. I am four months out and I crashed bad read my long post, dont let this happen to you. Get ready for the comments, opinions, and change of lifestyle. It will be a great journey but it is not easy in the beginning - See below this is how prepared you want to be post OP 3 weeks. Do your research, enjoy the ride and get this attitude F#@ck FOOD

    All of those - Not every day I have a weekly schedule zoom in - you need to get balanced = Some i only have to take once a week, some daily But for sure I take the liquid vitamins daily - two supplement blasts and The GNC powder daily - It is hard as hell to do and requires a lot of work to get your personal plan in order - I will tell you a multi vitamin is not going to do it - and for me eating 5 pounds of veggies is not a option - Since your food is limited i choose to go high on the following along with my GNC of 50 vit.minerals and then the regular B,C etc Omega 3 Fish Oil. Omega 3 fats are one of the most popular supplements for athletes, often in the form of a fish oil supplement. ... Whey Protein. ... Magnesium. ... Vitamin D. ... Creatine. ... Beta-Alanine.

    Been said a million times before here - You are not the first, You can not do it without the surgery, Sure you have tried, The surgery is only a tool and you use this tool to get healthy and happy. I will be brutally honest it is not his decision, You have decided to do this and the views and opinions of others is irrelevant. You have a long journey but the Head games are hard to deal with. I shut out all the views and opinion and just did it! This is only the beginning you will have issues with friends, co workers people etc. But when its all said and done you will be happy and healthy. Explain to him this, What i told my X wife but we are still friends. As you progress thru the stages he will see you happy and most likely support you, But I can tell you this is individual journey and is not easy, so dont let others sidetrack you Best decision i ever made

    Oh you have not seen anything yet - After the surgery you will notice a lot more- You will be amazed how people eat and gorge themselves - Just driving you get ambushed with signs, promotions, etc. This liquid week sucks its hard, probably the hardest time for alot of us. You may want to read a long post i did a few weeks back on the Getting Prepared and Head issues. It makes the journey alot easier if you get all the ducks in a row, Unlike me who Screwed up bad and had to recover making the journey hard till i got my stuff togethor

    You are stalled because you are low on water and Protein. Best thing to do is get balanced. I have said this a billion times here - Put the scale away, Pull it out once a week and log it. You will drive yourself nuts if you weight youself every day. See below this is my plan and get all your items in a row and I promise the weight will fall off - I agree you are way to low on the H2O - I do understand Water sucks to me alos, but you gotta get atleast 48-64oz a day in or you will have issues -

    Takes two full months for the Healing but you can get up and walk and move now - I would highly recemend moving and walking as much as you can - I was told not to swim for a month due to infection at cut points. Enjoy the journey and get you head on straight Famous first week line ------ Walk, water,walk water sip water walk sip walk water sip walk water sip walk The move you move the better the start you get - F@#ck FOOD - it damm near killed you! As for questions i would ask any - That is what this place is for, There are some guro's here and you will quickly see the level of knowledge is amazing.

    Educate yourself on Vitamins and Minerals, Once you learn the methods it is easy. Problem is you are ambushed by marketing and advertising - I would say start with the Big black bottle From GNC of 50 vitamins and minerals - They make a female version. Understand what you need per week, absorption rates, How long it stays and needs to be replenished, Do a blood work monthly to see your levels till you get it all lined up. This to me is more important then the actual weight loss,

    I can eat more soft liquid food then hard food, I doubt you will be able to eat a 8oz steak I agree with fluffy - We all can eat the decision is yours as to what and how much

    Dont overthink it - If you eat right and Your Head is in the game you will be fine - Dumping is a protection method so it only comes into play when you F@#ck Up. Sugar, grease or Heavy Carbs and it kicks in This will be the best decision you made

    Pre workout post surgery?

    Way to early you are not healed yet - I bought a Elliptical Machine and it shreds weight off me - But i was advised to wait 2 months before any workout - This came right from my doctor, I would just walk alot for the first two months.
  17. I went ape **** crazy I ate huge subs, pizza and went to all kinds of resteraunts - Drank like a fish - I made myself sick one day, Hit Mc Donalds, all the fast food - Just went nutz Was fun for a few weeks - But I will say i miss some things but this was the best decision i made in my life

    This will all pass the first few months suck! All i did was sleep and chill out for 30 days - Not that i advise this but i bought a puppy to keep me company, So me and him walk and chill out - Also play a game - kills lots of time and keeps you busy
  19. You are on the right path - My view is get the surgery as fast as you can and get all the things that go with it inline, Ready around here the surgery is a tool - The rest you need to be ready for!
  20. Unlike my well behaved members above i do partake in my Vodka and Cranberry - i would suggest you be very careful the sugar and the juice can get to you fast. I prefer to load up on drink heavy with Vodka and A dash of cranberry and some water. It only takes one good one now a days to really feel it

I have no real marks or scars just little dark spot - A little tan action and you would never see them. three marks at 12 9 and 3 and the naval cut so i had the exact thing - The old Naval is cut down inside and No marks - The other 3 look like cigarette burns little dark but not noticeable. Now when i put on a thong or my favorite bikini the suit often distracts from the tiny little marks.

  23. i say most likely yes as you can see by my profile picture I mainly eat seafood, I eat crab, shrimp, lobster and salt water fish since i could - Just for the hell of it I have pureed shrimp into a soupy shrimp chowder and had no problems. Stone crab is the same texture so my feeling is yes. I have a chopper for veggies one of those bladed things you slam up and down to dice onions and other veggies - Works great on seafood also. No garlic butter and as for spinach dip i would say the mayo may be to heavy, You can do a lettuce wrap works great and use butter lettuce good stuff and easy to digest

It takes this below to keep my blood work dead on, Key is absorption - You can go with all the marketing or you can go to the facts - I have found the most powerful ones that have the highest levels of absorption are the weight lifting ones - The black GNC powder realy hits me hard, use less and it does go in my system. The bariatric ones are often passed and not even 50% absorbed so be careful Key is the little supplement 1oz blasts also they add the extra mix
