What did you do to get through plateau? Anything special with your diet? My goal weight is 145, I was 177 in may. Today is my next visit. Like I said slightly nervous. Thanks for your help!

How are you? Doing good here. On a plateau, so I was told to try a liquid diet for 5 days to jump start everything again. So I will try it. Hope all is well with you and your family.

How are you doing? I have been really busy with work and stuff around the house I havent been online much. I have been good. I have hit a plateau the past month. How are you doing? So far so good here. Hubby has bought me a mini summer wardrobe. It is starting to get warm here, so clothes were needed. I live in the desert part of washington state. End of july and first of august is always in triple digits, so I am ready for summer. Well, hope all is well with you. Have a great weekend!!

Your photography website is amazing!! I could really use you right now!! I need to get engagement photos done for my son and his fiance, and there wedding is june 13th 2009. 1 year away. Have lots to help plan. I have found my dress, but dont want to buy it yet, I think Casey has found her wedding dress too. We were goofing off on ebay, at new dresses in store and she found one that is white and trimmed in pastel pink. So we will see. Well, just checking in. Well, my insurance company had me work with a dietitian for 3 months before surgery. I would be happy to send you the plan she had me do. I lost 45 pounds doing it. Just let me know and I could mail it to you. Sounds like you are ready! It is costly, but worth it!! IT is a huge life change. But I feel so much better and marriage life is awesome again. Let me know and I would be happy to mail dietition stuff to you.

Great your on solid foods now. I had the calender marked on what days I could start what foods. How much longer with foot in cast? How did you do that? Well congrats on sucess so far! Keep me posted.

Yah know vomiting was a scare for me too. But you know, I have not felt sick or felt like I had too once. My Dr Prescribed medicine for me to keep in fridge to have on hand so if I ever do get sick. I keep some at work in fridge too just in case. You cant do ibuprophen after surgery. I was lucky, my husband found Adult Liquid Tylenol. So I keep a bottle of that at work and home. My insurance didnt cover Dr Fox, so I had to pay him up front. Luckly we had a personal loan account with our credit union that was open and we used that for him. I was lucky insurance did pay, I was starting to have health issues, so that was in my favor, but it was 6 months of hoops and loops to get them to cover. I honestly dont regret any of it. Please feel free to talk to any of us on this site. I have met some really helpful people! We are on huge support group!!! DEB

Thanks for looking at pictures. I was banded on January 22, 2008. I have no regrets what so ever. I was starting to have health problems, depression, and it was starting to cause problems with my marriage. Getting the lapband changed my life for the best!! I have energy, my health is awesome now, I have high spirits all the time, and my husband and are wonderful now. If I can help you in anyway let me know! Just ask. My insurance did help me with cost. I had loops and hoops I had to do to get them to pay, but it was worth it. email or IM me anytime Deb

I still have days when I feel it and some days I dont. You get used to it. I have had 3 fills so far. Plus Dr put me on appetite suppressant meds. I dont use them all the time, just occasionally. I got on scale today and was 175. So 30 more pounds to go. Well, Keep me posted on your journey. YOUR doing great!!!! Keep up good work. Deb

So How are you doing after your surgery? Doing okay on liquids. I have some protein shake recipes I would be happy to share with you just let me know!!! I would be happy to email them to you.

That is awesome. So your getting to do pureed foods right. I have been on solids since march. then warm liquids for 48 hours after a fill. Have you had your first fill yet? Well, I hope your weekend went well. Had a great time with my hubby and our youngest son came and spent the weekend with us. Keep me posted on ;your progress.

I know only 30 pounds. My doctor asked me to be on his website due to my sucess. So I am writing a 2 paragraph blurp and he is putting my before photos and my updated photos on the site. I am excited. I have gone from buying 3x clothing to a size 12/14. Hubby took me out today and bought me a few outfits. Well, have a great rest of the weekend. I am enjoying it spending time with my hubby.
