I hear you girl. And when it comes from your mum it seems so much worse. She knows how you’ve struggled in the past. I had to deal with this post Christmas from my mum & my aunt. I mean it’s not like we’ve got bones sticking out, we’re in our healthy BMI range and we’re not giants. Just like we have to come to terms with our new reality, they have to too.
PS - actually watched some of the Aust Open yesterday. My mum & I watched the Barty/Kenin match whilst on the phone together. 😜 we’ve been known to watch cricket this way too.

You’ll find BMs are a regular topic of conversation here. 😁 I think it’s a combination of low food intake, high protein intake & low fibre.
I go in cycles. Sometimes everyday, sometimes every second or third day. When I hit three days with nothing I usually take a single Coloxyl tablet that night. That’s enough to get things started again. Was originally given Dulcolax by my surgeon but I found it way too harsh. Also, I take benefibre every second day. It’s important to keep your fluids up to keep things moving.
    Good luck with your surgery.

Tried a sliver of Xmas cake yesterday & again this morning. Probably a heaped teaspoon of cake & some fondant. It was delicious and no side affects. Whoo hoo!
And no this is not going to be a regular inclusion in my diet.
I’d been given the mini cake as a gift from a shoe shop I frequent. I’ll still be eating it in June but I’m not unhappy about that.

Hit 42degress last weekend but this week has been in the rather pleasant low 30s (relatively of course😜). Could still wear jeans but thank goodness for air conditioning. Worse is the drought. Everything is dying or dead. Very sad & depressing.
