  1. keep anti nausea med in your medicine cabinet at allll times!! i have the liquid and tablets just in case!!
  2. ya know...that happened to me not too long ago where i was stuck for hours and then i thought everything was fine. i drank a coffee and then all of a sudden i was in the bathroom again...soo wierd. i couldnt eat anything else until the next day and then it was better. my throat always feels all swollen though so im thinking your throat is all irritated and swollen in there. just try to drink lots of cold fluids to help the swelling and yes if it doesnt go away then call your dr. good luck!
  3. The reason we arent supposed to take ibprophen is that it can increase the chance of erosoion of the band into the stomache.
  4. i get the hiccups mainly when im wanting to get stuck on something...i actually helps me sometimes but i dont like them.
  5. I just got my second fill in a 14 band. He only put 1cc this time, bringing me to 6cc in a 14band?? I thot he was going to put in 2cc. He said that this is where most people end up. Weird...because ive been reading that alot of people have more than that.? We will see. Im kinda nervous to eat.
  6. Im wondering if theres a leak. Now that i think about it ...its good that they are doing it under xray...so they can see whats going on. good luck!
  7. THank you sooo much Jodi...i will check it out again. lol
  8. Hang in there and be patient with yourself. You will get there. It can take alot of tweaking from what ive read to get to your "sweet spot". Id wait for the xray thing..see how things go for another few weeks. You are doing good though. I go for my second fill today which will put me at 7cc in a 14 band. Wish me luck.
  9. That valentines day character is adorable Jodi!! I still havent been able to get my Ticker to work?? I dont get it. I use the compuer all the time and i cant get it to work? lol
  10. ok yeah i have a 14 band and i go for my second fill tomorrow so i will have a total of 7 cc in my 14 band. Hopefully that will give me some better restriction than i have. Im glad you are better now. Take it easy and eat slow.
  11. What size is your band? I got stuck on chicken...same thing...stuck for 2 hours...throwing up saliva every 5-10min. Its awful huh. what size band did they put on you and how many cc do you have altogether?
  12. Sounds like you are stuck. Take small sips of pineapple juice. The acid will help break up the food quicker. If it doesnt go away soon id call the dr and see what they say. The food either needs to come up or go down. When i was stuck my dr suggested bending way over to try and let gravity pull it back up. I sipped on pineapple juice and it went down 10 min later. Good luck!!

That is sooo weird. I was banded around the same time is you and i too have lost about 39 lbs and i just started exercising 5 days a week too. My friend next door and i are about to do this thing for lukemia. When i read your post it was like it was me talking lolol. I go for my second fill tomorrow. Im hoping to have more restriction because i can just about eat anything and good size portions too. Cant wait for more restriction!
  14. travelinsnorkel~what size band do you have?
  15. That seems sooo weird. My dr said the food either has to come up or go down so we will either throw it up or i will go through eventually. You would think with that position, gravity would encourage you to throw it "up" hmm very interesting. I will have to try that. Thank You.
