- Ships to Norway
- With Iron - I have a calsuim chewable in addition
- That covers all my basics after a MGB
- Something that I can order that I either can purchase a trial of, or that I can purchase a month supply with a decent price and without the shipping beeing 50+ USD.
I found lots of great vendors, but not everyone ships to Norway, and those who do usually take a large shipping fee. I worst I have seen is my order for 30 dollars with 250 USD in shippingπ£
I would be grateful for all tips, because yes, it is a struggle to keep the Vitamin regime currently. I find myself skipping it og delaying to swallow it until I forget some days. Can you maybe get them on Amazon? I have a friend in Luxembourg and I'm able to send him things from Amazon all the time. Not sure if that's an option for you. Good Luck! I know the Vitamins are a pain some days!!

I am really dreading this process because my hair has been very thin for a very long time - although I'm wondering if this is because of my other underlying health issues because when I was younger my hair was really thick. I think that I will have to go for a pixi hair cut once this starts but my nut already warned me that this would occur and when it started would last for about 2 months.

Any pointers?
I am currently on the bariatric Vitamins they gave me at the hospital, fitform I think. They taste like rotting corpses. I seriously have to motivate myself every day to eat them because of the taste and the after taste. I usually chase them down with some food to avoid tasting it for too long. I tried opening the capsules and blend it in my food, just to find out at all the food and my entire house smelled like a bariatric Vitamin - had to do spring cleaning with chlorine to get the smell out the houseπ
In my head chewables taste like candy, but my head says I'm wrong.I've heard a few people say they are taking Vitamins that taste terrible and stink. Are you able to see if you can switch to Flinstones or Centrum? That has to be super hard to keep up the Vitamin regimen eating something like that!!

I started with scrambled eggs this morning with a small amount of melted shredded cheese and also had the belly pain. Thirty minutes after eating I threw up half of what I ate and it was only 3 tbs of egg whites. So for lunch I had broth Soup again, but for dinner I had ground beef with retried Beans and shredded cheese. I had to stop eating half way through because I felt like I was going to be sick again but after a few minutes I was able to finish the rest. I didn't have the pain or get sick with dinner.
I've heard that eggs are kinda hard for most people at first (weird b/c they are pretty soft I know) but I'm a little farther out now - a month today and I too find that ground beef goes down the best and to me that's great because it has a lot of protein! I'm glad that you found some foods that you can eat without getting sick!

Hi Everyone! Seems like everyone is doing really good for the most part. I feel a little frustrated that the weight came off SO FAST in the beginning but is starting to come off a lot slower - but slow and steady wins the race I guess!
I'm having a hard time with Fluid intake. It's more uncomfortable drinking stuff than it is eating..I find that ground beef goes down the best so I've been doing lots of ground beef and hamburger patties and just chewing chewing chewing! Also eating lots of greek yogurt these days and cheese. I love coming in here and reading everyone's progress. Keep it up everyone, we got this!

I am taking Flinstones Vitamins 2x a day, B12 once a day, and viactiv 2x a day...I was given these on a list of approved chewable vitamins that I could start.

Just checking in to see if anybody has transitioned to soft foods/pureed foods yet? I was cleared yesterday to start them..

I am 16 days post off and on soft foods now. Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt have been working well. I tried some eggs with feta cheese and refried Beans and I feel like those kind of hurt digesting in my stomach, although I'm back at work now walking a mile to and from train so maybe the increased activity is causing the uncomfortableness but idk. Anybody else feel painful in the lower belly area when transitioning to soft foods?

Iβm about a week out. Surgery date 9/18. Im so tired of Protein Shakes and sweet crap. I need more savory things to keep me full. I feel like Iβm going crazy. Itβs hard to choke the Protein shakes down now but if I donβt I start dry heaving from empty stomach. Anyone struggling with the same thing?

I am new here but surgery date is 9/18. Two days into my liquid diet and itβs a little rough right now but keep telling myself to hang in there.

Is a protein shake a meal or snack?

I sip one throughout the day at work to try to help hit my Protein goal. So I guess I use them as a snack.
