So went back to my Gp and got sent straight to hospital because I was tachycardic, which has been an ongoing problem anyway after staying in and lots of bloods being done, they think I have PoTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) so have been started on a cardiac drug and have to go for more tests for a definitive diagnosis. It could well be the cause of the nausea so I guess I shall just have to wait and see!

Fingers crossed it can get resolved for you soon, it must be awful feeling like that constantly.

    Do keep us informed 🤗

Speaking of poochy belly ... mine should be gone 12 hrs from now! Going in for plastics in the morning. So no OOTDs for me in a while. I'm sure everyone knows what a granny velour robe looks like

    😂

Wishing you a smooooth surgery and quick, relatively painless recovery :)

Good morning lovely ladies. I haven’t been posting much because I just have been feeling fat and self-conscious. It started when I got my winter gala dress in the mail. My hubby said it looked good on me, just don’t gain any weight. That hit something in me. So I started IF on Sunday. I was down to 135 this morning, and tried on my dress again. It is way out of my comfort zone. I need honest opinions please. Can I pull this off? Then a picture of my OOTD. It’s supposed to rain all day, and snow tomorrow. Winter is here.

You look smokin hot in that little black dress!! No doubt your hubby was just having a distracted (by how smokin hot you look)moment saying that.

Honest opinions. How do they look straight on? Obviously fake?

hubba hubba...Amazed you actually made it out the door... or was your BF not there to see this wonder!! hehe... I too can see the outline of the inserts if really looking for them... agree maybe a darker or thicker fabric!

Everyone looks amazing, love seeing all the cool clothes and how everyone is enjoying this so much.

I am so loving watching those still on the weight loss journey like @AngieBear shrinking before our eyes... you are so correct in what you wrote, it would help with the body dismorphia we all suffer from for sure, I intent to post even close to the start when I finally get the surgery as I do think it will help a lot with the process of mind set alteration!

One more outfit and I’m done. I bought this back in June and it is kind of a little loose now. Got it from express. I’m excited to wear it but hopefully here in Florida it still looks seasonally appropriate..

    Shhhheeeez... those legs!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Barbie rang... she wants them back!!

Good morning lovelies. I just got this in the mail from Amazon yesterday. So I figured I better wear it before the rain hits us hard tomorrow. I hope you all have great days.

Yeah I get that. It’s just the functionality frustrates me sometimes. It’s so hard to reply to things and also annoying when a picture has to be copied and pasted a gazillion times so we know which outfit we are talking about.

Yeah, I hear you, the multiple quoting with images does get a bit much, but I figure it is worth wading through as this site is amazing, not so great on phone as computer though.

I think we need a Facebook group, it would be so much easier to follow.

    What to wear after WLS

No thanks, I don't do Facebook personally for good reasons, and for me at least the beauty of the forum is that it is anon and everyone doesn't need to know everyone else's beeswax 24/7

This site has been brilliant for me to research and get masses of "real life" information and experience and to get to terms with where I am going without any judgement or comment from anyone else. I already am very much admiring of some of the people here and their amazing journeys.. some choose to say/show who they are, some don't and I totally respect that.

    Just MHO of course :)

Well I can never afford 20k so I'm doing it the best way I can. My surgery is set for end of October but I've started my preop diet earlier :) My surgeon says any weight loss will help him do the surgery and help my recovery.

Good for you,, and good luck Mikeyy! I can't really affford it either, but have found a work around, so hopefully if I can work out the logistics it will be Oct or Nov.
