Hi. I started at 475lbs. Day of surgery, in October 2018, I was 430lbs. Itβs now September 2019. I was down to 325lbs 1-2 weeks ago. I am now at 311lbs. Stalled for a couple months, stopped taking protien drinks. Started dropping again.

Strange thing is, I just had someone ask me recently if I had gout...like it goes with gastric bypass. I donβt have it, but Iβm curious now.

None of my clothes are fitting well. Digging out old stuff that used to fit, even some of that is getting too big. Look like the saggy baggy elephant. But Iβd rather be saggy than dead or like I was. Some people say β I donβt know how you do it.β I say, I donβt know why it took so long!

So around the first couple months of 2018, I decided my health was bad enough to do the drastic. Weighing at around 475lbs, out of control diabetic, a lot of health stuff, couldnβt do anything hardly but sit around dying, slowly. Fast forward to October 2018, day of my surgery was at 430lbs. Itβs September 2019, Iβm at 318lbs. I feel so much better! Iβm in my first stall. My goal is 200lbs or under. My diabetes is nowhere to be found, from the day of my surgery to now, itβs totally good, no more insulin. Iβm going to the gym2-3 times a week. I have a few pics to see. Tried to do before, during and after in order. The last pic is about a week ago.

I do at least one Protein Shake a day. 1 cp of soy milk, 5 tblsp of low-fat cottage cheese, 5 tblsp 0 fat Greek Yogurt, 1 scoop of protien powder. Adds up to approx 45 grams of protien. About 350 calories.

What is that experience called, Iβve had that a few times, and I always end up vomiting. Its only happened like 3 times, and it was when I forgot to chew enough. I learned not to do it.On 09/01/2019 at 11:33, chubbypandanic said:
Like my stomach hurts. My stomach turns. Then I face hyper salivation, Then followed by the need to vomit. I dont vomit but it feels like it. Lol but when I eat shrimp, crab, crab legs, mussels. I feel nothing

Seafood gumbo, without the rice is good too.

I usually have a Protein Shake for breakfast, can of chilli for lunch, and a sensible dinner with fish, turkey, or chicken. With some veggies. And maybe a teaspoon of carbs.

Ok, I though starting at the gym would help. It hasnβt. I do more strength than cardio. I do 2 miles on stationary bike then at least 20,000 lbs, of weight movement.

Well Iβm more accurately at 1000 calories give or take 1-2 hundred . So add calories? That seems like it would not work, but I could try it. I usually drink at least one Protein Shake a day. I can eat almost anything, other than junk food, which I stay away from, as long as I chew it enough.

Hmm Iβll have to try that.

Does that work?

Iβm sure. I use a Bariatric calorie ap every day. I count everything, and read and log labels. On 08/31/2019 at 10:04, justmetj said:
Are you accurately counting all your calories? That seems like a long time to be in a stall at your current weight and only eating 1000 calories a day.

My surgery was oct. 2018. On my surgery day I was 430lbs. Iβm now at 318lbs. Iβm staying around 1000 calories a day. Going to the gym 3 times a week. Usually burning under or just at 1000 calories when at gym. Iβve stalled and been around 320 for about a month or two.

I think a key is to chew very thoroughly, and eat SLOW. I can eat more than a cup at once also, if I wanted too. I stop once I get full. I asked the DR. about the pouch stretching, he said it takes a very long time to stretch out your pouch. On 07/02/2019 at 22:46, Krestel said:
This is what im more worrying about. It seems like my pouch can hold way more up to almost a cup already (6 weeks out). Is that normal?
