Hoping to get an additional 40lbs down by my 1 year anniversary.

Eternally grateful for this tool!

So it had been a while since I had posted anything down here. My surgery was on the 25th of February 2016.
I used to look like this:
After three years, many things have changed.
I must admit I still fancy a bit of fast food, a beer, wine or a whisky from time to time, but I don't feel addicted to those like I used to. I eat healthier, I learnt to avoid stupid behaviour and I don't give a s*** anymore about what my family can tell me regarding the fact I now eat "like a bird" (at least I am not dying each time I climb up stairs).
I had a few throw backs health-wise that are non-weight related (started to have epileptic crisis) and I was scared the treatment would lead me back to a wrong path food-wise, but hopefully, it wasn't the case. I also was diagnosed with osteoroposis, but it hasn't been linked with my sleeve surgery (it's very uncommon amongst male patients, let alone 27years old ones), apparentely, it's more a lack of luck regarding my genes. Every blood test I have made indicates that I have a very healthy diet and that I lack of nothing but a bit of luck 😛
I still bike, walk and hike a lot, I had a small regain (two kilos) but in two years, I don't think it's that horrific.
Here is how I look recently:
If I can help answer any question, relieve a doubt or whatever I can do to be useful, don't hesitate to PM me or ask me something here.
Cheers from Belgium

Still working on adding muscle but I am happy with my current weight. I have surpassed my goal weight. Now it is all about body composition.

Well over 2 and 1/2 years post op and I'm doing things I never dreamed possible. I got back into mountain biking and never thought I would be doing a downhill bike park, bit here I am doing it!! I joined the bike patrol unit in work and ride 15 to 20 miles a day in work. I travel, I eat food, I drink alcohol, I'm really living my best life as cliche as it sounds.

BoredCW got a reaction from FluffyChix in Walk me through your operation
Similar process as GreenTealael. Only difference was that since my surgery was a revision, they offered a epidural and that was done in the operating room. They also asked if I would be ok with a direct line in my neck as it would make injections and taking blood easier later. I said yes to both.
9 hours later I was waking up feeling like I was hit by a semi truck minus the broken bones.
After recovery where your pretty out of it and I can barely remember much from it other then a nice nurse that hit a button when I said I hurt. They rolled me up to my room where I took inventory. Besides the incision site, I had 3 drains, Feeding tube coming out of my abdomen.
What I didn't expect was my right leg and left arm were sore if not in pain. This was due to how I was laid on the operating table. The nurses were nice about it and provided ice packs to help recover.
Your Milage May Vary though as all surgeries are different.
Good Luck!

Yup, even got gallbladder and appendix removed, an unknown hernia fixed that was identified in an office visit and a Liver biopsy. As they were under the hood, might as well take care of everything else that will probably go wrong or is in the area.

Tell me all about your surgery day. What was it like? What procedure did you go through in terms of getting ready for your operation on the day of. What was the sedation process and how did you feel immediately after?
