Everyone is different, i went straight into lifting weights. But thats not too common in this community. If you really want to start getting into that type of training, but dont think youre ready for weights, there are a lot of body weight exercises you can do that help get you towards those goals. Air squats are great. People at first think, they cant be that hard. But see how you feel after 100. lol. Also good old fashioned push ups are great. Whether you do the ones on your knees or not, both are great for working your arms and core. Lunges are another one.
i will say that my body would get tired but never to wear i felt like i over did it. I was very strict on getting a lot of Protein tho. ive watched that video about not working out, and i get it, but there are also other doctors who will encourage lifting. I wanted to get into a good routine early on and i did. I wouldnt change a thing. I hit goal 7 months after surgery and i feel better then ever.

Jake great to see you again. I know these are crazy super busy times, but you are looking great.
Sophie you are cute as a button. I love Tek Gear tops. I actually ordered 2 yesterday. I did get highlights the day before they closed all non essential businesses here.
Here is a closer look at my hair Sophie. Also my OOTD. No stopping work since I work in health care. Super busy, we did finally lock our door with a sign to go to our clinic for screening before entering.
I wish you all a safe and healthy day.Thank you!! and yeah ive just been focusing on everything and havent been on here as much. Still doing well. Everyone is looking great.

Not really a way to speed up that process unless you have more of a coconut oil type edible that gets ingested faster. Edibles can be tricky. I have no issues hitting the peace pipe either but im not suggesting anything. Thats just me. But i also started the day i came home .

Unfortunately i have had to many Stoner employees and issues with pot in my work place that i have a issue with it. But these people abuse it -
Jake send me some Coconut infusion oil.
i hear ya. That stereotype is slowly fading away thankfully. lol It really is cool what and how they can control it these days based off what youre looking for. I personally love it for sleep. But yeah message me and we can figure something out AJ.
PS. The recovery on your muscles and relaxation is unreal.

Heres my thing, there is a lot of research done these days, and its proven that taking in medical marijuana by ingesting it, is way healthier then alcohol and doesnt have addictive traits like alcohol. These are facts. Not opinions. I dont encourage anyone to do anything. ONLY MY EXPERIENCE. They day i came home i had my infused coconut oil and i still do to this day. And i think ive been pretty successful. Anyone that takes a prescription drug has no right to tell anyone else that this prescription is different. The days of close minded "marijuana is the devil" are over. Please i encourage you to do your research before you bash something that youve been told your whole life is the devil so thats what you believe. I hope everyone finds what THEY NEED to be successful on this journey. We are all different and may take different roads but i hope we all make healthy new lives and continue to grow. ❤️ i hope everyone has a great day!

Not gonna lie, its a lot of hard work, especially early on because you cant eat a lot to really build muscle. But i started going hard 2 weeks after surgery and havent stopped. Im Happy where im at now. Eventually going to try to build more muscle. But it is a process, and losing the weight and being healthy is what is most important first.

There was so much comfort in not being able to eat a lot -- now it's up to me and that word discipline. In April, 2019, I weighed 274. On surgery day, July 15, I weighed 261. Today I weigh 205. I have only lost five pounds in the last two months. No excuses, though. I think I was relying so much on my body not being able to handle more food/beverages that I didn't work on the discipline I need to get me through these times when eating is easier. I still eat only 1/2 a plate and I eat more in the early part of the day vs the evening. I guess I have to exercise a heck of a lot more than just 2 miles on a treadmill. Encouragement?
Good news is you know what you have to do when it comes to eating. Now you just had to up your activity and continue to eat good healthy foods. Maybe look into some high intensity work outs. I know you can keep it going. This ride is not over and im sure youre more restricted then you were before surgery. Take full advantage! I love working out now. and i think it has a lot to do with my success. I know people similar to me that had the surgery and lost a lot at first and then plateau before goal because then never exercised. Use the tool while we have it and incorporate a new life style in that time. Good luck! You got this.

crossfit definitely was the best choice i made. I went in there at 340. Dont be embarrassed at all. Those days are over. Youre doing this for YOU now. Its time to lose that mentality because that what got us where we were in the first place. I know its hard because i went through it too, but i decided to put my head down, humble myself into knowing i would struggle, and go for it. That way i would never have to feel that way again. YOU got this. Whatever you decide, the only thing that can hold you back is yourself.
