Apparently you don't like the content since you are implying that we are being sensitive....so..again I ask...why didn't you just move on?

Maybe you should take your own advice. Apparently you don't agree with the point of this thread...so why did you post at all? Why didn't you just "move on"?

I think that those types of posts are considered "off topic" and in some other forums would be moved or deleted. In my opinion the best thing to do to reduce tension, is simply not to post any more on that thread and move on.

With all due respect Funny I fail to see how those types of post on a thread with such tension helps. To get back to the matter at hand....we should go post on other threads that are actually about weight loss and banding. By continued posting on a thread like these recent ones, it only keeps it at the top of the list for more people to read and then post on. The best way to end tension is to let it drop.

I just wanted to say that I'm leaving Thursday morning from Lisbon for Florida. Hopefully tropical storm Ernesto won't interfere with our flight plans.

We are going to be in the US (Texas and Florida) for about 3 weeks then we are heading back here to Lisbon. We soooo need a vacation!

I'll still be around though using my laptop, so wish me a good flight!!

Hello Floridians, is anyone from the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area. My surgery is this Monday 8/28 in Melbourne with Dr.Mark Fusco. Tomorrow is the big day to have only 1 meal and the rest of the day clear liquids, this goes for saturday too and then on Sunday, it's clear all day. I can do it, unlike the rest of you I guess I was fornuate not to have to diet before hand and take shots. That is a definate bummer and hard to boot. Well, wish all us August bandsters coming up soon lots of luck, we need it.

Good luck on your surgery! I'm sure everything will go well. check in when you get back and let us know how your doing!

I haven't used them, but I'm sure I will be needing to find something in the central Florida area when I move. Inamed also has a list of qualified doctors on their website, you may be able to get some information from talking to the office of one of those doctors in the Tampa area.

I get checked out a lot here in Portugal, there ain't to many blondes with blue eyes 'round these parts.. :nervous I ususally get a whistle or 2 and a few approach me until hubby steps out of the woodworks...:speechles

I've been there and I like it. its helpful and informative. its not a replacement for LBT but it is a nice supplement.

yeah i did, i took it to them and they are giving me a discount on the next framing job i have done. I have had several things framed by them and they always do a nice job, i think this time was just an accident.

Paula, you have a very valuable talent which is to be one of the sweetest most caring person I have met here on LBT. You always have something nice to say to everyone! And I'm sure that one of these days you will find some other type of hidden talent you never knew you had! (um like putting up with kids and all their friends they drag over..ahem!)

Actually it was a quiet small design. It took me about a month of working on it 10 - 15 min here and there. The back stitching took the most time, but over all it turned out nice.:biggrin1:

Lisa I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard it is for you. I love animals dearly, it breaks my heart looking at that photo. Hopefully happier times are to come.

I have only had 1 fill and it was PAINFUL!! It burned really bad for some reason. I'm sticking to the theory that the benedine got on the needle prick. I'm getting a 2nd fill soon so we will see if it was just a one time thing.
