  1. I am so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you, hugs.
  2. I wish I could afford it, but 105.00 a month is above my pay scale!
  3. I felt swollen and had pain for close to 5 weeks. I think it just depends on the person and the surgery. I had a more complicated surgery and came home from the hospital 15 pounds heavier than I came in. Lots of painful gas, but the more you walk, the better it gets! Hope you are feeling better soon!
  4. I use MyFittnesspal.com to log my food, water and exercise. I use the free version and really like it!
  5. I haven't found any that I can stomach. They all seem s heavy and thick to eat
  6. Be careful with GERD medications, I believe they just recalled some more this week. Talk to your surgeon for sure!
  7. Maybe you could sell the bras online. I still think we should have a buy sell or trade group ?
  8. Congratulations! Welcome to the forum and enjoy the journey!

  10. I didn't get blood clots but I did get Pleurisy. No treatment for it.
  11. I will look for this today!
  12. I am 4 months out and I just started eating fruit last week in smoothies. Half spinach, 1/4 cup frozen fruit and 1/2 cup Fairlife reduced fat milk and 1 scoop protein powder. About 220 calories, and fills me up for a long time!
  13. I eat salad the same way, I eat way less dressing that way with no lost of taste!

Well, I have until 2064, boy will I be old!
  15. Protein anonymous?
  16. We are about the same age, I agree that it has something to do with it lol!
  17. I didn't advance to a regular diet until day 43 or 6 weeks. I think it really made a difference!
  18. I am not quiet 60 I will be 55 in April. I had no lingering issues with surgery and I am happy with my weight loss and all the physical improvements to my body. It is attainable even at an older age! I look forward to getting to know you!
  19. My scale is finally moving again! It will happen! I eat what I call a "whole food diet" with lots protein and veggies and fruit. I think I need to get away from my 2 snacks a day though. How long did everyone keep snacks as a part of their daily routine? It is frustrating being in a stall, but it will end eventually as long as you stay on your plan!
  20. At the right top of the page click on your user name, then under account settings you will be able to edit and add.
  21. I have decided between the support on this post along with the rational explanations, I no longer think I am a slow loser. I think that I am doing well enough and the way I am losing is helping my skin shrink along with the rest of me. I didn't get fat in one day and it won't take one day to lose it. When I had my VBG in 1998 I lost very quickly but I was also 33 and not 54. I also exercised like crazy and not so much this time. I really think the up in calories is helping move things in the right direction, but I am going to stick at the level (800 ish cal. a day) for awhile. I am afraid to go to 1200 to 1400 like they advised.
