Sleeve2019 reacted to Jdanzey in PLEASE HELP. I’m 2 weeks post op with very little weight loss.
I am 3 weeks post and still on liquid diet and will be for at least 3 more per my dr. When I went for my two week check up I was told not to get discouraged because I probably would not lose more than 10 lbs over the next month. I’ll take it. Keep your head up. You will lose.

I didn't start focusing on calories until I was a few months out. Before then, if you're following your plan, you're really not eating enough to worry about calories. I was aware of my caloric intake because I was logging everything I was eating, but I only focused on Protein and fluids for the first few months.

1. Give it time. You're only 2 weeks out. Also, there's a chance you'll lose no weight at all for a few weeks (search 3 week stall). Mentally prep for it, because if slow loss is bothering you now, the stall will be a mind ****.
2. You started at a lower BMI, so naturally, your weight lost will be slower than someone who weighs more than you.
3. Search the board for people who started out at a similar weight. Your experience is likely more normal than you think. You may need to reset your expectations about the process.
Good luck on your journey.
