For me I start to feel a little pressure in my chest or upper part of my stomach, If I don't stop when I feel that most of the times I threw up. You have to be checking what is your body's reflex of being full. You really not going to feel full but your body give you signals of it... is not like in the past when we don't have the surgery.I had my sleeve done 4/23, and I'm on "soft foods". At my 2 week appointment with the surgeon and dietician, the dietician told me that I need to learn "intuitively" what it feels like to be full, so she doesn't really push the whole "measuring out of foods" thing. I'm wondering if anyone else's dietician is the same, and if you have been successful with not weighing out foods and just knowing when to "stop", and learning what that true "fullness" feels like, without over doing it?

I didn't cheat... but 7 days I think is enough time, drink a lot of liquids, to help your body to discharge what you eat. Remember your stomach has to be completely empty for your surgery, if not you have the risk of aspiration any solid you have in your stomach and that can be mortal... be a good girl from now... don't quit you can do it!!!IM 7 DAYS AWAY FROM MY SURGERY AND I SLIPPED UP!!!!!! IM SO SCARED ABOUT NOT BEING APPROVED FOR MY SURGERY BECAUSE MY LIVER IS TOO FATTY [emoji20] PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES GOOD AND BAD

My English isn't good if you don't understand anything tell me and I rephrase itWow! Thank you for sharing this! Can you tell us what was the easiest part for you and what was the hardest? Do people treat you differently?
The hardest part was at the beginning to learn when to stop eating, because with less of 1 oz of food I was full and vomit if I eat a little more. The easiest is to buy clothes now🤣🤣🤣🤣. Well I think is not easiest part, but when you start to feel better, physically, your self esteem. My pre diabetes and my high blood pressure dissapeared, you feel better.
I think people treat me the same, some think I make a good decision, others I feel are waiting me to fail. But I hope to have enough discipline to keep doing it well.
You have your surgery done?

I'm from Puerto Rico, 41 years old. I have my Sleeve 9 month ago. My higher weight was 306, my weight on surgery day was 267, my current weight is 182... 124 pounds in total. I need to loose 35 more pounds.
I'm very happy with the process, but still being focused, because my "yo gordita" still chasing me[emoji28][emoji28]

You are going to be well soon... I'm in my 9th month. But when I get my sleeve, I was in liquids the first week, second liquids plus yogurt, third blended, fourth purees, from the fifth for a complete month solids but fiber... 2 oz per meals every 2 hours with Protein Shake, or cheese sticks for Snacks between meals... and then all kind of solid... probably is too soon for your stomach to process it... maybe if you go back to purees for a while or meals without Fiber, try less oz of food too... for me it's help a lot to loose weight and to process food. Sorry my English isn't good if you don't understand anything tell me and I rephrase it...Hello All !
I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and for the most part I’m doing fine. However since being on solids from Day 15 , I find it very hard to eat 3 4oz meals per day , I vomit after drinking Protein Shakes and I have acid reflux after eating. Anybody else have this ? Does it get better ? Sure I look better on the outside but on the inside I feel terrible. Please tell me it gets better !
P.S. I’ve lost 25 lbs in three weeks ! I’ve lost 50 in total since 1 month pre-op !
Feel free to follow me on IG and i’ll do the same for support [emoji5]
