I remember it very well. My husband and I had just gotten our first brand new car. I was sitting in it waiting for him to get it registered. I was listening to the radio when they broke in with the announcement . I couldn't believe it. I was very busy in the 60s. I had 4 children in 5 years. Anyway, I was pregnant for my first when that happened. -
