  6. Day 24. Post op day 8. I have not tried to engage in much strength training given being recently post OP. I try to get at least 10K steps a day walking around my home and neighborhood. It has not been hard to do. Spend time with family: We are currently having a weekend staycation at a local resort and it has been great. I have been able to hang with them while they eat all types of food and not felt awkward or particularly yearned to eat what they are eating. I brought my own liquid diet with me. My hunger monster has been quite silent and this for me is mind blowing. I've been able to withstand the allure of my all time favorites. I was very pleased to spend time with family without any angst over food!![emoji119][emoji119][emoji119][emoji119][emoji119] Kids also chose to stay with hubby and I rather than go to kids club (a first)[emoji848][emoji848]. Anyway, it's been a fun day. B sided question: Most spontaneous thing I've ever done was take 10 days off in the middle of med school ( felt like a month off studies) to go backpacking around Europe with non med school friends that were going in the middle of my school year!!! Horrible for studies but best thing I've ever done! 19 countries in 10 days[emoji5].
  7. No it's not "cheating" because at this point you have exceeded your goal and you look and feel amazing! You are just trying to psychologically catch up to where your body and your physician knows it's just right!! So if changing it helps you mentally, GO FO IT!!![emoji112][emoji112][emoji112][emoji112][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122] Give yourself the ability to celebrate GOAL FluffyChix!!! It was hard earned, long time coming and you GOT there!!!!

  10. Thanks so much FluffyChix for your concern, very appreciated! I was also pretty active prior to surgery...but I just make myself get 10K steps daily walking regular pace in my living room and neighborhood. 10K is about 5miles. Definitely not trying to do more than that for now on approximately 500 cals per day. With the Fitbit challenge with friends, I averaged 25K per day prior to surgery.
  11. Well done!!!![emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122] You look absolutely fabulous ?[emoji169]?[emoji169]

  13. My program also okayed this stage but FluffyChix's explanation makes a lot of sense as I've been experiencing some mild tummy aches on my "approved" diet except water[emoji848][emoji848]
