Hi everyone! I am provisionally booked for the 25th June 2019 and I’m pooping myself!! I weigh 299lbs, 5 foot 5 inches and age 30. Why am I so scared? It was my decision?! Why am I now doubting it? What if it doesn’t work for me? Ahhhh 🤦🏻♀️🙈🙏🤯

Thank you for this post. I am provisionally booked in for the 25th June and starting to have doubts. I was kind of relying on getting the dumping syndrome to help me lose my desire for food that I currently carry, I’m now worried I might not get it and I’ll still want to shovel everything in my face 🙈. You have put my mind at ease with the actual surgery though as everyone has been negative around me telling me how extreme it is blah blah blah, which isn’t helpful!! It’s nice to read people have done it and love it! Thank you.

I’m 16 months out post gastric bypass. Down 201 pounds, 186 from after surgery. Would love to lose ten more but I’m ok if this it. 😀

Thats a good idea, I should start prepping to. I also plan on clearing all of my cupboards out!
My private surgeon (I’m in the UK), is putting me on ‘the milk diet’ for 2 weeks prior to surgery.

It will, it will, I am 73 , a gastric bypass of less than a year, have lost 130 pounds from my highest weight, 97 pounds since surgery last September 5th. And I would have sworn it would never happen, I just couldn't diet and keep it off, Lord a Mercy, I did try, should have been awarded an Effort Trophy. But I am sure doing it now, don't even look like me anymore since I lost my round moon face. But I will be something special when I am through, no big thing if I start resembling my dead relatives, they are in no state to complain.
So June will be the Wonder month for you all, and we will all cheer you on!
