Is anyone else locking at a dec/ Jan surgery date who wants to be friends and support each other.

I was just wondering what to expect at my first support group before surgery I’m quite nervous as I’m very shy especially around people I don’t know. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you, Marissa Moss

Hey everyone. I had a quick question. I know that you have to get cleared by a psychologist to have the surgery but I’m bit worried. 3 years ago I was hospitalized for 6 months for an eating disorder. I was restricting and purging, and over exercising. In those 6 months I lost about 100 pounds but when I was released from the hospital I gained back double that weight in 3 years. Will they not do surgery on me because I have a eating disorder history. All answers are appreciated. Thankyou, Marissa

Hello everyone I’m Marissa and I’m only nineteen years old. I’m very scared to have this surgery. I was hoping to find a friend in here to talk to about what’s happing with each other. I’m hoping to find someone who just started this journey and is going to attend there first appointment this month. Also for people that have had the surgery already can you all please leave me some advice that you wish you had gotten when going thru this journey. Thank you all so much.
