I think they want you to say away from caffeine.

Obvs, follow your dieticians rules, but they told me no more than 8oz of caffeine a day during the pre op diet. Also herbal tea has no caffeine and tastes just as good

You should follow your surgical team's plans, but I drank coffee before & after surgery. I definitely preferred low-acid coffee, like "Big Trouble" blend from Counter Culture Coffee.
Now, 4+ years later, I've given up coffee. Caffeine kicks up my anxiety & I don't need the acid. Tea is working better for me.

Hello ladies ,
Congrats on your weight loss ... I’m having gastric sleeve April 5.. I am also a low bmi of 35 .. what can I expect as far as how fast weight coming off ?? Does it fall off slowly or pretty quick ?? Also did u have a lot of extra skin ?? Kinda nervous about that ..
