Just had surgery
Just had my surgery March 20. I had regards last night like you this liquid diet is getting me. It gets better with time. I take a sip of water every 10 minutes. Even if it's walking in place at your bedside that's a start. Good luck.[emoji890]️[emoji890]️[emoji890]️ Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

barbaric process
That's great you have your kids for support!! Like everyone else my family is very judgemental and I had to fight with them the whole way to surgery. I had my surgery, my husband and kids are here holding me together. Good luck on your surgery. Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

Family driving me crazy!!!
So at the beginning of this whole journey the only person who has always been behind me is my husband. No he is acting like I can not do anything, cook, wash clothes, wash dishes. If I try to walk to long in his eyes he is telling me to lay down. Of that's not enough now I have my mother who questioned the way, made little remarks about my weight now wanting to come take care of me. Not only does she want to come stay with me she wants to bring my two youngest nicece too. Which are 3 and 5. It's not some vacation from work for a family get together, I'm recovering over here. Just find it funny now that I am accomplishing what I set out to do now everyone is all of a sudden on mine and husband side. Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

Post op nutrition
I do have trouble, had my sleeve done on 3/20. Yesterday I started making in protein and it worked. I start my day with a 16 oz water and I freeze the protein in ice trays that equal up to 80 grams. I eat the and ice all day long. It worked but today is just the second day I'm doing it. Hope that helps Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

You are doing great. Also don't down play your hard work by saying you still weigh alot. Remember always look at what you have accomplished so far. The fact that it's just 11 days post op, I want to be like you. I'm only 3 days post op and feel all the pain still. Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

Advice for pre-op diet and journals
I make everything the night before. I fill out the food logs and make sure I do not take any money to go out to buy something else while at work. For water I have a water bottle that's 32 ounces, or I measure it by the 16 ounce water bottle. Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app
