I had to do one week clears post op. Then one week full liquids. Clears were tough. Once I was a few days post op, I could drink a lot as well. The pyloric valve from your stomach into the intestine just kind of flips open for liquid, so that's not all just sitting on your pouch. I really felt like did they even DO anything in there?? Then the first time I ate something more solid, like that had to be chewed a lot, you can really tell the difference. I couldn't even eat one soft scrambled egg before I was stuffed. You'll see when you start eating more than clears, and when you get beyond Protein Shakes and Soups. You're totally normal. I wish someone had told me that! Lol. Good luck on your journey.
